This has worked great for numerous trips. Very handy & so far very accurate

I used this handheld scale to see if my checked luggage would fit the 50lb limit. Initially it did not, so I rearranged some items into my carry-on and then obtained a checked luggage weight of about 48.5 lbs. At the airport, my luggage weighed within 2/10ths of what it did with the handheld scale. When flying back, I checked all of my friends' suitcases and confirmed they were all under the weight limit, too. A suitcase that weighed about as much as mine had before, was checked just fine. My friends were all impressed with the ease of using the device and that it could be easily packed in a carryon without any trouble. I retained it in the packaging to keep it safe and from draining the batteries by being pushed on while I was traveling. It was a good investment and I will use it again.

This worked super well. I went on a study abroad and bought it for that, and so I used it a couple times before I left and it was super accurate. I then left it alone for around 4 months until it was time to pack to come home. Then, I was using it a good amount trying to get my suitcase below the weight limit, and then it died.I had figured I would buy it even though so many other reviews stated that it died really quickly and I'm glad I did. I was able to find another scale to finish up my packing!My only recommendation if you buy this and bring it on a trip is to bring an extra battery and a screwdriver for it!!

Excellent design!The bar shake makes this scale easy to hold.The strap which connects back to the scale's loop, holds luggage firmly so it's weighed properly and doesn't fall off.Easy to use controls don't require a manual to figure out!Small and light so you can carry it with you.Highly recommended.

Just bought this for a trip I am about to take. Always annoying to go from big American airlines that allow 50 pounds to European airlines that limit weight to 20 kg. (No, they are not the same!) Yes, I can do that math in my head but it means I have to limit my weight until it's my final flight home. I often do a lot of guessing as to the weight and envy my friends who have baggage scales. But I didn't want to give up precious ounces of my weight to carry a scale! So when I was offered this to try by Bagail for an honest review, I thought I would give it a go. Having purchased some of their packing cubes, I wanted to see another one of their great products.This is definitely it! The scale weighs only 5 ounces and fits in the palm of my hand. It is so much smaller and sleeker than other scales. It is simple to use, even if you don't read the instructions. Just press the O button to turn it on; the U button changes the scale from pounds to kilograms. Hook the strap around the handle of your bag, turn it on, and lift a bit off the ground. The scale will flash 3 times when it hits the weight. Easy. Press the O button again to re-set to zero and weigh something else. Press and hold the O button for about 3 seconds to shut it off. It also turns itself off by itself after about 2 minutes.Can't wait to compare the weight of my bag to the scale at the airport!

Surprisingly accurate to 0.1lbs. Quick and easy to use. Saves a lot of hassle (and cost) at the airport dealing with overweight bags.
