R18ST50-0 18V One+ Cordless Stapler (Body Only)

Bought this to replace my Stanley corded mains stapler which turned out to be a waste of money as it failed dismally, out of warranty of course, following occasional light use. This Ryobi is obviously more expensive however it is cordless and not limited by any cable length and I have 3 5 amp batteries already for other Ryobi tools. It's a solid beast and chunky when attached to a 5 amp battery but it's quite easily handled and by heck does a good job. More powerful than its predecessor by a long way. I've no idea how long it will last but having a 3 year warranty tells me it's going to be reliable and not clap out before it should.

Works really well without battling to align in comparison to using normal stapler. Perfect tool for stapling canvas print on to wooden picture frames. Good value for money too and the weight is just right. For those DIYers making sound absorption panels or any upholstry work, you will be please that got this.

I used quite a few manual staplers, even some of them were called 'heavy duty' - I always have a problem with them after some minimal use. This one is ... just perfect. I regret I haven't bought it earlier. Just works as it should and have enough power to staple even to the hardwood. Love it

As someone who normally goes for the cheaper tool option, I can say that this was worth every single penny. No jamming, no broken staples, an accurate shot that drives through wood every time with ease. It’s a bulky tool but my stapling work has just become twice as fast regardless.

good quality

Used for pinning underlay and lining mebrane to 90 year old timbers. The variable depth control is simple to use and effective. The fabric gripper attachment worked well when I needed it and didn't impede when I didn't. Unit power is great, but it's a bit heavy especially with a 5Ah battery - I switched out for a 2Ah and it was easier to handle. However complaining about it being a bit hefty when I've not had to pull a lever several hundred times is a bit redundant! Because you're not having to pull the lever of a manual tool, I found I was able to be more focussed on positioning and had zero slipage - the staples were applied exactly where I wanted them. Very simple to use and satified with the efficacy of the tool.

Superb, out of the box I set the pressure and fired 600 staples into hard ply wood, it didn't misfire once and at the end my hand wasn't aching as it would normally be with a staple gun. Looking at the angled nailer next.

This is a great piece of equipment, it's not faulted no matter what size nails I use, if you're a keen advanced diy'er then this is for you, Ryobi can't go wrong, this has been added to my now quite extensive Ryobi collection, remember ons battery fits all
