Took ages to set up. The app wouldn't accept my WiFi code. Eventually it did!

First time I've used a smart plug and it's fantastic. It suggests using the Smart Life app but I find recently that the Tuya app is better. I got this smart plug for my heated blanket which doesn't have a timer and now thanks to this little gadget, i no longer stand the risk of roasting at night because I've fallen asleep with the blanket on! I use it in a surge protected extension with no issues. Aside from the timer, I like the 'Inching' function where whatever is plugged in, will automatically turn off after a set period of time until you turn it back on again.

Lovely device, easy to set up, can use voice control through google or Alexsa or through app on your smartphone. Perfect for in those hard to reach areas like behind the tv unit. Hopefully will help save some Pennines by allowing me to switch off all my devices and not leaving them on standby for hours on end.

Not such an easy set up if you have a BT Smart Hub 2 or other dual Hub (2.4ghz+5ghz under 1 name) but it is doable. You need to call up BT and ask them to temporarily disable the 5ghz setting and the Smart Hub setting (you can also do this by accessing the advanced Hub settings online, but I found it easier to just call). Then you can connect the devices as per instructions, which is really easy to do, and then have BT turn the 5ghz back on and everything works fine then. Interface is really easy and was super easy to connect to Google home and works well from there. Would highly recommend.

I ordered two. They appear well made and were easy to add to the Smart Life app. The on / off button on the left side glows blue when the plug is powered but OFF, and purple when powered and ON. It doesn't interfere with the switch on a UK socket, which needs to be left on to power the plug and keep it connected to wi-fi. Works perfectly on the Smart Life app, e.g. using timer settings.Highly recommended.
