I love it for that reason alone. It does suck that the first one arrived broken and then it was back-ordered and I had to wait for a second one.This is a great pot for making tea for company. It makes plenty of tea.The metal strainer is easy to clean. The lid is metal, so it won't break if I'm clumsy.
