Review: Brilliant Device for Sourdough - Large enough to fit a 15cm x 15cm x 25cm tall container for bulk fermentation. The temperature stated on the front is just a guide, don’t think of it as Centigrade. Use a thermometer to get accurate readings in the chamber and keep a record for reference later. Liked it so much, I bought the 25 L model as well.

**Q: Are the listed dimensions the external or internal?**
A: The dimensions are the external dimensions. The internal dimensions are 6x6x10 inches (15x15x25 cm). I will update the listing to clarify.

**Q: I don’t suppose a 220 v version is available? I’m in Thailand**
A: Hello, actually we will have this product available in Europe in 220V EU and UK Plug next month. We could ship them to you in Thailand, could you message us (IVYX Scientific) to arrange this? Thank you!

**Q: In the title it says 110V but in the description is says 220V, which is it?**
A: The incubator sold in the US is 110V, to plug in a standard US 110V AC outlet. Amazon automatically populated the voltage as 220V on the product page for some reason, and we don't have a way to correct this.

**Q: Can this run continuously for 2 years at something close to room temperature? 25-27C.**
A: We bought two, and both broke within six months of (nearly) continuous operation). It was good while it lasted, though.

### ⭐⭐ inaccurate temperature reading

I set my ferments in the incubator to culture because it is too cold this time of year to start anything. I assumed it would work but upon opening it the next day it felt cooler than what I was expecting. I put a wireless thermometer inside with my culture and it was a full 4C lower than I set it. I considered setting it higher and working from there but by that point I had no way of diagnosing the problem. And for 160 pound it should work as described. 2 stars because the return was easy and it looks really nice. I can't say if I received a faulty appliance but I am not ordering a new one to find out.
