Dried Bamboo Shoot - 14oz

It is difficult to find dried bamboo shoots for a reasonable price on line so when I saw these I ordered them. They are not baby shoots so they are not as tender as I like but they are adequate if soaked . Those not familiar with this product may be put offf by the odor. This is normal and goes away if soaked for 3 days in fresh water, changing it every day. My biggest complaint and the main reason I will likely not buy these again is they are sulfated and I have concern for the potential health risks.

Ordered because description says No Preservatives but it has them. Please refund. MSG would be a good preservative, not sulfites. Burns my eyes.

I bought this product, Dried Bamboo Shoot, to use in making Hot and Sour soap. The good news is that the order arrived quickly. The bad news is that they sent dried Bamboo LEAVES, not shoots They appear to be nice bamboo leaves, but you can't use leaves in soap. The ugly news is you can't return this item.

I bought dried bamboo shoots. Instead, I got a 3-foot-long package of dried bamboo leaves. It doesn't even look like the seller's picture. This product is a complete lie--don't buy it!

The package contents stunk of industrial chemical smell, I threw the entire package away. Did not smell safe to eat in any way.
