Rite in the RainWeatherproof Black Metal Bullet Pen - Black Ink (No. 96), 5.25 x 0.375 x 0.5

This is the BEST Rite in the Rain pen...I bought the cheaper (appx half the price of this one) RITR pen (the one that you click to use) and it does, in fact, write, but that's about where the usefulness ends. For $10-$11, it is extremely cheap and broke in half in my bag.This pen, however, is strong, writes nicely, is compact when stored, won't break, and is comfortable in the hand when writing. It is worth every penny. Also, if you're in need of a compact and discreet weapon, this should fit the bill nicely. it is not a tactical pen, but would do the job in a pinch.

I used this pen doing field work in a bog (wetland, swamp) for several weeks and it was great. It never bled, worked on wet paper and in odd positions (upside down). I highly recommend this for anyone who does a lot of writing outside. The pen is small enough that it fits in my leather man case next to my leather man so I can keep it on my belt. It also transitions nicely to fitting in a small purse when i go out!

This is my third one of these...I have lost the others. It goes in your front pocket so easy you hardly know it's there. It has never leaked even when it is really hot and I'm working. I have even bashed it while carrying lumber, concrete blocks, etc and it never breaks or leaks. This is my first time getting it on amazon (I think) but it is the same as the previous ones straight from "rite in the rain". It always writes; cold, hot, damp, etc. It never leaves globs. The ink lasts a long time, I've never run one dry, I usually lose it first. I don't do much pen and paper with smart phones now, but when I need to, I always have it. Beats having a regular pen in your breast pocket or neck cuff, etc. Those always bleed and ruin shirts.

This is a replacement for the one I took with me to Iraq. Had it for 13 years but lost it going to the VA. Obviously, the price shot signifyingly North since I bought the first one. Way overpriced now!

I was skeptical about this pen. But after using a friend's Field Notes Space Pen. I wanted to give this a try. I can happily report that it works better than the field notes counterpart. I think the rite in rain folk have gotten the ink formula just right!I used this pen underwater because why not? And it worked perfectly.

This pen is compact because of the way it stores and carries well just stuffed in a pocket. But when you need a really good full sized pen it fits the task. They write well and last for years provided you don't loose it or have it swiped.

Love the pen. Had a previous one already that lasted years until I lost it. This was a replacement for that one. Fits in the pocket and goes everywhere with me. This one is already starting to lose ink and not write correctly. Probably one bad apple. Would love to be able to talk to company and see about replacing ink cartridge. This instance will NOT affect me owning and using these in the future.

I've bought a half dozen of these pens over the years and absolutely love them! They are sturdy and convenient, and do write whenever and wherever you need them to! My only issue is losing them because they are so small, and sometimes they fall out of my pocket if I'm not careful.

Handy pen. Not very strong. Made of some very lightweight metal. Easily bent and can get stuck together. Could do with a clip of some kind to keep it in place.

Le produit fonctionne comme prévu, mais le stylo est beaucoup trop petit.A éviter pour une écriture quotidienne. Peut servir pour une écriture occasionnelle, comme dans une trousse d'évacuation par exemple.
