Walk A Mile In My Cleats ... Literally!
I'm currently using Look's KEO Classic pedals on my road bike, and I bought a set of these cleats thinking they'd come in handy at lunch stops, store stops, and controles on brevets and other long one-day rides (for overnight tours, I use my 'cross/gravel/touring bike, on which I keep mountain-bike style clipless touring pedals). It turns out that they also come in really handy when you leave home without a spare tube or patch kit, intending to buy a tube on the way out, forget to buy the tube, flat 14 miles into your ride, and then have to walk through a grocery store to the nearest ATM and an additional mile to the nearest bus stop with a printed schedule available (um ... not that this has ever happened to me, of course ... heh). While true weight weenies might want a lighter cleat for racing, Look's Grip Cleats offer a great balance between weight and functionality. Clipping in and out is a breeze (no more difficult than with plain KEO cleats), and when you find yourself forced to walk on a slick surface in your team kit, you don't suddenly feel like you're in an underfunded production of "Superheroes on Ice" (though, I will own, one does still look and sound pretty ridiculous clopping through a supermarket in road bike shoes). It's worth noting that there *is* a lot of float in these cleats. That's great for someone like me -- I broke my left tibia a couple years back it healed just a bit out of alignment, which can make adjusting bike cleats very difficult -- but might not be everyone's cup of tea.One last thing: I got a set of Kool Kovers to go with these (stupidly hoping to preserve the grippy areas!), but it turns out that the height added to the cleats by the rubber grippy sections means they don't stay on very well. I stuck them on and lost one almost immediately (somewhere in the city of Louisville, there is probably a dog with a very odd toy that it found on a walk -- you're welcome, Fido). Turns out the grippy surfaces on these are grippier than the Kool Kovers anyway. Kool Kovers are a must with plain cleats, but total overkill (and not very effective) with these. In short:Look's KEO Grip cleats are perfect brevet cleats. They're also great for training, probably touring (if you use your road pedals to tour), and even -- if you're someone like me who figures you can definitely shave a few grams off your butt before you start worrying about the weight of your stuff too much -- for racing.Buy them. They're worth it.

Quick and Easy Upgrade from Favero Grey Pedals
Bought to upgrade to a larger float range from the 6 degree grey cleats that came with ASSIOMA Duo pedals. Fits ASSIOMAs fine and a noticeable increase in float feel.

Great shoe cleats, but they wear out fast!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I've used these shoe-to-peddal cleats for over ten years. I've also used SPDs, and I love the wider foot-print, as it were, in more broadly distributing force over the shoe over SPDs. I like this particular version, as it has 10 degrees of "float", giving my foot some freedom to find it's most comfortable angle. Once locked in, they are secure, yet easy to pop out of.I love the rubber patches on parts of the cleat. If you have all-plastic cleats, it's like walking on ice if you have to get off you bike and walk indoors for lunch or sign up, or use a bathroom. My one beef: those rubberized pads wear out really fast if you have to walk on gravel or road surface, or have the bad habit of dragging your foot on the ground when you come to a stop. Then you're back to wearing ice skates on floors, often before you know it. And once the rubber pads are gone, the plastic wears fairly fast, and then you start having problems clipping in.A solution is to have rubber covers, which they make, to slip over the cleats, but it's a bit of a hassle to carry and keep track of them.

STOP BUYING CHEAP CLEATS AND BUY THESE
I mean for the price it lasts a long time. It's been a couple of months and about +200 miles in, they aren't even damaged. They look used but it's better than getting those $9-$10 cleats. For a big-boned person like myself, I'm surprised at the quality and endurance it's been getting me.

LOOK Keo Not Shimano
these work great just like Shimano road bike clips, however they are not interchangeable. I learned the hard way. both type clips fit on road bike shoes and have 3 screws and look the same. LOOK Keo are slightly shorter but work great on my pedals.

Size difference
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Keo Look cleats have always worked on my pedals Shimano Peleton (Brand name, not the exercise machine), but these are shorter and don't stay clipped in. I don't know what changed. I've had the same brand petals (3 pairs) for the last 12 years and have frequently ordered new cleats, but I don't have a clue why these are shorter. Measure your old cleats for length before you buy these.Pedal quality:Always a good buy, quality product.
