A must for neonate kittens.
I'm going to copy/ paste some from my review of the miracle nipple syringes because a lot applies:I am newish to fostering kittens and I agreed to take in a case of a mom with 2 week old kittens. I've had older kittens but usually mom can handle everything so I wasn't expecting to need to do much. Aaaaand then the foster coordinator actually picked them all up and realized the poor condition everyone was in. Mom was starved and had SEVEN babies! One was so small we were afraid she wouldn't last the day. So I binged Kitten Lady's instructions and learned neonate kitten care WAYYY before I ever thought I would dip my toes in. I supplemented formula for the smallest babies and everyone is healthy and thriving and just now the little "runt" Pumpkin is big enough so everyone can get their spay/neuter and be adopted! All that is to say this was recommended to me as the "gold standard" and two months later I finally remember to write this review. I had a few other brands I used in a pinch and these are definitely the best. One important thing with kittens is they can aspirate SO easily. so with syringe feeding you need to go very slow and smooth. And having a good nipple to latch on with means the kitten can do most of the work. My kittens would NOT latch on to any other style of nipple and these come with the hole ready vs having to guess and cut yourself. The miracle nipple and miracle nipple mini are really the only nipples that I could get to work for these kittens, they are WORTH the price. They last a decentlt long time as long as you wash well with warm soapy water and rinse well. I'd wash the whole thing with a soapy sponge then use a clean syringe to push soapy then clean water through the opening a few times. They are designed like a cats nipple so they are more natural and you don't have to worry about cutting the hole yourself and making it too big or small. I mainly used the original size but I think mini would be good for smaller week old kittens. I definitely recommend the Miracle brand syringes if you're syringe feeding, they are way better and less sticky/ jumpy even after a couple washes and reused. Much less chance of a kitten aspirating formula. Those first few weeks were the scariest of my life but now I've realized I'm in love with neonate kitten care and am now ready to start with orphaned kittens. I definitely credit these for helping me save these babies lives. Myself, Mama Cheesecake Factory (or Chef for short), Peanut Butter Cup, Graham Cracker, Tiramisu, Pumpkin, S'mores Galore, Lemon Meringue, and Breadstick all thank Miracle Nipple lol

WORKS GREAT - MUCH Better & Easier than Standard Nipples
We use these when we have to feed orphans pups at our dog rescue. They work MUCH BETTER than standard nipples.1) We don't use them with the included syringes as they don't hold enough to feed even newborn pups for one feeding.2) The nipples fit OUTSIDE the cap of a standard 4 ounce feeding bottle - this is GREAT because there's less chance of a pup aspirating formula this way. (Most nipples are fitted from the bottom of the cap through the opening; Miracle Nipples fit from the top of the cap to the inside.)3) The long nipple more closely resembles mama dog and is more natural and easier for puppy babies to feed from - LOTS of experience here with this.4) They're durable and easy to clean, which for the price we need them to be.We definitely recommend them - if you're caring for newborns who require feeding every few hours you need to do everything possible to make this as easy on them and YOU as possible.

Saved my puppies lives, but nipples do deteriorate if you use them enough.
Newborn puppies wouldn't take store bought bottles. I tried these miracle nipples and was pleasantly surprised. These truly saved my puppy's lives. Super easy to use and slow enough flow so you can force the feeding if needed, or the puppies can suck the milk out themselves without aspirating. Would work great for kittens as well. Easily attaches to other syringes. The given syringe faded after about 5 feedings. The nipples also deteriorated and started tearing after about 4 weeks, but still well worth the money.

Wonderful for newborn kittens!
These are great for newborn kittens! I got for newborn kittens I rescued because the ones in the store you have to put the hole in yourself but these are wonderful they come ready and you can attach to any syringe or bottle pretty much kitten bottle not baby bottle. They work great kittens latched on right away! The size is perfect comfortable for kittens! Highly recommend!

Too small for 3 week old kittens
It seems like a great product, the nipple is too small for 3 week old kittens. The syringe doesn't hold enough milk either.

Best product on the market!
After taking in a litter of 3 orphan kittens at 2 weeks old, I was convinced they would all die. None of them would latch on to the kitten bottle I got to actually suckle, and I couldn't get them to take much more than 5 milliliters of formula per feeding between the 3 of them. At about 4 am the first night I had the kittens, I did some desperate googling and ordered these nipples and 2 different tube feeding kits. I never had to use the tube feeding kits. These nipples were so easy to use! I was able to dribble in the formula slowly even when the kittens wouldn't truly suckle, and it was easy to measure how much formula each kitten was actually getting. (Of course, you do have to be careful to go slow if you're dribbling it in yourself so that the kittens have time to swallow without aspirating.) By the second day, two of the kittens were actually sucking the formula out of the syringe themselves - the nipple size/shape was perfect. I got some additional luer-lock syringes from my vet in various sizes as they grew, and eventually we were using 20 mL syringes instead of the 3 mL ones this kit comes with. All three kittens thrived once we started using these nipples, and they're now 10 weeks old! The nipples were very durable and lasted through the 4 weeks that I had to use them. I did buy 4 nipples so each kitten had one (plus a spare). They were also easy to clean - I would shoot a syringe of hot water through, then two syringes of soapy water, then another of clean water to rinse. If you have taken on the potentially heart-breaking task of bottle feeding kittens, you need these nipples!!!

Perfect!
This was well accepted by the foster kitten I was feeding. It’s a great system and easier to use and more accepted than the bottle I had been using.
