I had read that this worked but in order to make it compatible I had to clip the black ring off and attach the strap by the paracord only. It works great! The black ring was not pliable enough to stretch over the neck of the Owala. I heated it and got it on but the top would not screw down tight enough. No problem. Get some scissors. Snip off the black ring and tighten the single paracord around the neck.
