It is stitched double sided so it doesn't matter what side is facing the front. Very nice heavy material so it doesn't blow around in the breeze as much. I really love this flag. I bought a large and small flag and I am happy with both. Speedy shipping, too!Update on my review: I noticed the fabric loop on the flag that attaches to the flag pole was not as good as other flags that I own. After a week the loop came off. I don't know where it is but the flag started sliding down. I finally put back up today but I had to use a safety pin in place of the loop. The flag is good quality but the loop...not so much. A little disappointed.
