Excellent replacement for old Redmond motor
This was a perfect replacement for my fan. I replaced a 60 year old REDMOND motor that was very loud using the detailed drawing. Except for the straight plug on the new motor vs the angled plug on the old one (minor issue for me) it went smooth. I reused the existing mounting hardware. Just take note of which direction the plug faces on the mounting bracket. The new motor is much quieter and works perfectly.

Make sure it's the correct rotation
I purchased as a replacement for a very old ceiling Nutone exhaust fan motor of the 50s and 60s. While it fit and bolted up and plugged in great it was the wrong rotation, my mistake. I installed this motor so I did not return it. There was nothing wrong with the motor, it ran quiet with no issues. It was just wrong for my application.

turns the fan blades backwards (compaired to an older motor)
works fine for us. Used on an old kitchen fan. The motor is really quiet, especially compared to the old one (from the 1960s) It has some quirks. The biggest one being it turns in a different direction than the original one. Which means the fan blows smell in instead of sucking it out. Thankfully I married a MacGyver and he was able to bend the fan blades the way they needed to be so it worked. Keep in mind the direction of revolution when you purchase this.

EMERSON-PRYNE F32CAK3-532
Replaced EMERSON-PRYNE F32CAK3-532 in my 1964 house. Perfect. Counter-clockwise. Very low noise. Should have done this years ago!

Simple and Easy Replacement, Cheaper than replacing entire exhaust fan unit
Direct replacement for my kitchen exhaust fan. Much cheaper than replacing the entire fan unit. Few screws and it was in place of the old one, and fixed. Much quieter than previous failed unit.

I call it an exhaust fan for a bathroom
This motor worked exactly like I wanted it to and fit the mount correctly as it needed to and it's pretty quiet but very effective.

1:1 swap replacement for old 1950s Pryne & Co. bathroom fan motor
Perfect replacement for and old (I believe mid-late 1950s) Pryne & Co. bathroom fan motor. Attached are pictures of the ceased original motor that even after cleaning well and adding proper lubricant would no longer spin without binding. The new motor fit and has been running perfectly!

It turns off more often than not which resulted to fire fighters coming in to our apartment because it caused smoke detectors to alarm. I can’t find other option though.
