A measured response to the plethora of simplistic negative reviews...
I was quite surprised to see a fair number of 1 star reviews for this product with not a lot of detail for the negative review... My experience owning this grinder for over a year has been extremely positive. There are a few things that must be realized about this grinder and the class of grinders it occupies. This is not a commercial grade unit by any means. Its meant for home "frequent" use and that is all. It is not meant to grind hundreds of pounds of meat at a time. It is for the moderate use hobbyist and infrequent use home user primarily. That being said based off of a few of the negative review I have read I will offer the following suggestions and ideas to avoid their complaints...Washing the unit- HAND WASH ALL PARTS ONLY!!!! Cannot stress this enough, nothing should go in the dishwasher. The metal parts that are plated will delaminate eventually and the non coated parts will oxidize and get a grey/black coating to them that will rub off onto your food you pass through the unit. Its a chemical reaction with chemicals in the dishwasher liquid/packs. Just hand wash with good ol Dawn and hand dry and your parts will last for a long time.Grinding meat- This can be tricky and what i will say may seem counter-intuitive... SEMI FREEZE YOUR MEAT AND FAT BEFORE GRINDING. Again key word here SEMI-FREEZE. Below 35 f but above 32 f. If the meat and fat you pass through is in the 40s f you will get mushy smeared goo and write in a review that the unit is underpowered and not sharp... no, you didn't do it right... if you over freeze the meat solid you will seize the auger and strip the gearing or round the shaft the auger rides on and say its a underpowered flimsy POS... Again this is not a commercial grade LEM unit etc. Semi frozen (firm, yet still pliable) meat and fat will grind like an absolute dream in this unit I promise! The coarse die will produce big crumbly solid pieces and the med and fine dies will produce perfectly separated "spaghetti strands" of fat and meat mix.My personal experience with this grinder has been extremely positive overall. Following the basic guidelines I described above my farce grinds have been exactly what I have desired. Cleaning is tedious by hand, but its part of the ritual... The main body of the grinding body assembly attachment is the most difficult part to clean overall. My only suggestion or complaint as such is the lack of inclusion of a cleaning brush to get in there and really scrub out the little meat bits left behind in the end. You can always go buy one yourself but a "included with" brush with the unit would have been convenient.I will end this long winded review by saying I feel this is a quality unit and used properly you will get a long time of satisfaction from it.

Powerful meat grinder gets job done fast and easy!
The media could not be loaded. I've been using hand meat grinders for years (went through a total of 4 grinders). Finally I got fed up when my last hand grinder broke, and bought this electric meat grinder. I have to confess the biggest reason I chose this one over other ones is the discount coupon. But I'm not disappointed when i received this sturdy well made machine. The assembly was a piece of cake (if you know how to assemble a hand meat grinder you know how to assemble this, it's the same thing). After unpacking, you have to take apart the parts that gets into contact with meat, and wash them thoroughly with warm soap water, then rinse to make sure they are completely clean. Then you assemble according to the instructions (very simple I promise), and load up the meat and push the button. I've only grounded pork so far, because the beef meat cuts are way more expensive than the grounded beef in my local supermarket. Plus, the beef cuts tend to be very lean, and I prefer the 80% ground beef because the fat makes the burgers juicy. The pork ground, however, cost a lot more in my supermarket, usually around $3.99 a pound. I can find some very inexpensive pork chops for less than $2 a pound (sometimes pork shoulder picnic roast can be on sale for $0.79 a pound), and those are perfect for grinding. All you have to do is to cut them to 2 inch strips or cubes. This grinder come with a black plastic stick for pushing the meat down, which is immensely helpful as you can see from the video. I grind about 10 pounds of pork each time, packing each 2 pounds of ground pork into a container and store in my freezer. In the instruction it says you have to let the machine cool down after 10 minutes of continuous use, which is probably necessary because the machine does get quite warm after grinding 10 pounds of pork. I have not used any attachment other than the grinder plates though. When I have time I'll try to make some sausages and report back. Overall this is very well made very powerful grinder. 350W is totally enough unless you want to grind bones. I guess the 2000W max is the peak power rating when there are bones present in the meat, but I make sure there are no bones there because I am not a hyena.

Great Starter Grinder!
This is our first time using a meat grinder. This meat grinder with sausage stuffer is very easy to use and easy to clean afterwards. Be careful to have meat/fat only, as any tendons will not be ground up.We made a batch of chicken sausage and a batch of kielbasa that is currently in the smoker!I'm very pleased with the results!

Great for small batches of grinding
I purchased this based on reviews and thankfully, I do not regret it! I use this to make ground chicken breast (I buy chicken breast on sale and is much cheaper than buying the pre-packaged ground chicken!). This grinder works great but I did have to grind in batches due to the machine getting warm. I would recommend this for light grinding needs.

Grinds up meat
Used this for grinding cow and chicken so far. Took both like a Champ. I put the cut up meat in the freezer for a bit before grindning. Has 3 plates for course, medium, and fine grind. I think the instructions said not to use a dishwasher. I wash by hand and it's not hard to clan the parts. I use a sponge for the main tube and a brush for everything else.So far I haven't had an issue and expect it to last a few years.

Please don't waste my time and money by sending defective products!
I tried to use this meat grinder and it broke down in less than one minute! The power popped in and out like it had a short and I wasn't even able to turn it off. The power buttons are defective as well. I had to unplug it just to turn it off. It was packed securely and appeared to be in new condition, but it was defective from the onset. I noticed that the window for return has passed with Amazon, but I am expecting a replacement or a refund from you. PLEASE check the condition of the products that you ship them out! This was highly inconvenient as I had all the meat prepped for grinding. Please advise on the next step in dealing with this unfortunate situation.

Too Small for Moose Hunters But Ideal in the Kitchen.
It was to small for the hunting season that the men wanted it for. It's great ideal for smaller indoor job's. A friend bought it from us and she is very pleased with it.
