Hip Holster for Jimenez JA9, Bryco 59 & Jennings 59

I bought this for my J.A. Nine and it fits like a glove. The snap release is well placed, and can be adjusted if need be. The belt clip also stays on with a vengeance, it's not coming off unless you want it to. Overall, awesome purchase for the price.

If you are looking for a perfect OWB holster for your SCCY pistol, this is it. I bought this for my tactical belt and this holster fits perfectly on that belt. It has a very nice neoprene backing which is both comfortable and keeps the holster locked in position. I never feel it move around. My belt is 2 inches wide and a fairly thick nylon, which fits the slot on the paddle perfectly. Once the belt is on and the paddle is locked, I've never had it shift out of position when running, working, running machinery, handling animals, anything physical that I want to engage.The locking system is significantly snug and doesn't come out with a gentle tug or if pulled at the wrong angle, it does release on a quick snap action in the direction you would naturally draw, but you will definitely need to practice to get the hang of it. There are some things that are just short of making this item superb, but I still rate it 5 stars because it performs exactly as designed, I've just managed to find some areas where it could perform better for me.- the locking tabs hold to the belt securely, but only if the belt is around your waist. When I take my belt off and release the pressure squeezing the paddle to the belt and locking tabs, it will fall off the belt. Found that out the hard way dropping the holstered pistol- if you are swapping holsters often (as I do everyday from my IWB EDC holster), then it actually takes both hands to remove it from this holster when not on your hip. Again, not a bad thing, just something to be aware of and get used toI can't comment on which other pistols will fit this well, but the SCCY isn't listed other than in reviews and comments.

Love this holster. I got a Jimenez JA9 as temporary fire arm and this holster fits perfectly. Really like the fac it hold an extra clip too.

In an attempt to make this (already quite bulky) holster be wearable in a number of ways they made it cumbersome.Each side (left and right) has two layers of canvas straps (for the clip and a belt to fit through) perpendicular to each other and overlapping. That along with the clip (which is removable, unless you want to use it...), the magazine pouch on the front, the excessive Velcro for the strap, and the generally rough cut of the holster as compared to the guns they 'fit' equates to essentially strapping a sack of potatoes to your body somewhere...
