Easy to assemble.
I put this together by myself in about 1 1/2 hours. Was perfectly square and once the back was put on it's rock solid. Looks good too.

Very well made and easy to put together. I normally do not like furniture that needs construction but this shelf was quite easy and well designed.

Not solid wood, easy to assemble
I need a bookcase about this tall and that's fit the bill but the pieces do not fit together very well and the back is made out of printed cardboard so you get what you pay for

Sturdiness, the oak wood matches my other oak furniture. I was very happy when we finished putting it together, it was exactly what I wanted and looks great!

i bought 2, put them together in 2 hrs,,, no issues
in truth the 2 units may not be worth 700 dollars but i would be hard pressed to buy, build and stain the equivalent in the time needed ,,,, i searched for many days and found nothing to fit my requirements/price ,,, i put them one on top of the other with a double sided tape as their connection point and the units have no balance issues what so ever,,,, would i suggest you buying these ,,, yes if they fit your needs,,, best i can tell you :-)
