Loctite Extreme Glue, All-Purpose, Fast-Acting Clear Glue for Wood, Metal, Stone, Glass, and Rubber, 1 x 50g

I was looking for a strong ,thick, clear adhesive to stick seashells onto a wall plaque. The people that make these things appear to use clear silicone which is ok if you're making loads of signs, but not very practical for a small application (the entire tube usually goes off before you use it again). This adhesive was thick enough to position and hold things in place while it sets. Just pop the cap back on and stand it upright and it's ready to go for many more applications. Highly recommended

I'm really having a hard time reviewing this product. The reason for this is that I cannot say that this product is good or bad. I think it depends on the use you need and also on the person using it. The fact is: that this glue is called: "Extreme Glue Gel" I am not a chemical expert, so I do not know if it depends on the fact that it is also a "Gel", what I know is that if you are expecting a glue, style: "Super Glue", <which glues everything even your fingers and hands after a few seconds>, ​​then your expectation is TOTALLY wrong. This is not a "Sprint Glue" this is a glue that works over longer times, and I must say that it glues everything really well, the problem is time, (if a problem can be defined, of course). Because if you need to do "a quick job" then this glue is not for you, because you have to wait at least 5 minutes before the glue starts to have a good effect, and after 24 hours it gets the maximum stickiness, therefore in terms of "Quality" there is no question, it is an excellent glue and does its job, in terms of speed instead.. Well.. let's say that that is questionable.

The glass in this light had fallen out and it was obviously glued when made. I now have a better than original bond of the glass to the metal. I am not worried about temperature as I am using a LED bulb in there.

I love superglue it’s really useful but those tiny tubes are good for one application, your use a fraction of it and can never get the lid off again. So. In the bin it goes! This doesn’t do that, cap goes back on and it’s ready For the next time. Very handy product that’s actually reusable!

This stone lighthouse was a gift from a dear friend and had great sentimental value so been trying to fix it for ages after my wife accidently knocked it off the shelf dusting . I tried a few other brands of instant contact glue and it just kept coming apart , tried this one ( takes longer to harden ) and it cannot be pulled apart now . It is clear glue so difficult to spot the repair, the result is great . ( A Review Update ) I needed a really strong adesive especially for PLASTIC and tried different types but all did not withstand the pulling of the drier door , this one was the only one which did ! Pics show how thin the plastic on the door handle is , but problem is now solved . You need the right type of adesive for each job .

Had to reattach a square top of a glass coffee table to metal legs. Applied as directed, weighted table down & left for 48 hours. Table is as good as new.

This was the best glue for repairing metal mounting discs on a heavy glass drafting table. It dried perfectly clear and seems to be even stronger than the factory adhesive used originally!

Had to glue rubber to wood and it was an excellent bonding.

So far I like this glue for craft projects. It only takes a dab on small beads to attach to pottery, glass, etc, and dries quickly

I've never been disappointed by a Loctite product. It's what I buy when it has to be done right.
