Was very excited when I ordered and received these great looking gardening gloves. We have just moved into our house and are in the process of clearing an overgrown area of the garden which is full of brambles and nettles so I thought these would be perfect for the job.Positive: Protected my arms from getting scratched.Negative: Prickles pocked through the gloves into my fingers several times.Overall, I wouldn't buy these gloves again unless the 'hand' area had extra protection added.

I bought 2 pairs of these to tackle an overgrown garden, full of thistles and stingers. These were more than up to the job and never let anything through the thick leathery material. The "up-the-arm" protection was also pretty decent and didn't get any stings there either.Being made of what they are, it's not the most supple of materials so sometimes pulling out fine weeds was an issue but you can do it with a bit of perseverance! They also state they're ladies gloves but I bought these for me (a bloke) and my wife and neither of us had any issues with the fit. Would buy again!

I have tried numerous gardening gloves over the years to try and tackle the brambles in my garden and have been disappointed by all of them so I wasn’t expecting a lot from these. I’m so pleased I took a chance and bought these as they are fantastic! I have been able to remove a huge amount of brambles without a single thorn getting through these gloves. The length of them is brilliant as they come a long way up my arms meaning there’s much more protection from those dastardly brambles and thorns. The fit is excellent, plenty of room inside but fit snugly enough not to roll down or come off. All in all, I’m very pleased with these.

Excellent quality item providing good length protection for forearms working on thorny hedging. Medium feels a good fit for a ladies (smaller) hand... Previously had purchased small size in a more expensive well known brand gauntlet, which are not only difficult to get (her) hand into, but the finger length is too small. No such problems with these Handladys. Not put them through heavy use yet, so may well follow up on this up on that in future.

Having used these gloves intentionally on brambles I was pleased that I felt absolutely nothing. The hide is thick and the size is a little large which surprised me as I dont have small hands andit is awkward when trying to pick up something small but so what, I just take it off. Very pleased with this purchase and hope they last a long a time.

These gardening gloves are brilliant even against thorns. I have been clearing our garden completely of many wild roses, ready for when the landscape gardeners come in and patio the garden and then we can have tubs of plants that can be maintained far easier.

They were thinner than I was expecting but this means they are flexible and more comfortable than I was expecting. So far no issues with pyracantha thorns piercing the gauntlet. So job done. I love the pink.
