We got this mat for her to try and so far she loves it. No more slipping around the Reformer which helps her concentrate on the class better. It doesn't have any sort of weird smell and it rolls up pretty small to fit in her small bag along with socks, straps, and a few other items she takes to class. So far, it does not leave any residue on the reformer as several reviews have mentioned. It isn't exactly inexpensive so hopefully it will hold up as several people have mentioned that durability is in question.
