MAYBELLINE - Superstay Ink Crayon Lipstick Own Your Empire - 0.04 oz (1.1 g)

I love these and have 3 different colours (all reds) and two of each. Really easy to use and unless I eat or drink, will stay on for hours. Have been using these for over 5 years and occasionally buy another red lipstick but none of them are as good as these

The color is surprisingly vivid and look exactly as advertised. Is not sheer, is not runny or smudgy, has a a nice thickness to it and feels moist on the lips unlike other resistant lipsticks. However is not completely transfer resistant, it wears off after a meal, it transfers onto your coffee mug or on someone's else's face after a kiss, not completely but a fair amount. I love it anyway, is more resistant then others, and is moist, doesn't dry the lips, the colours are fabulous and the packaging is nice too, plus the sharpener that allows it to be used also as a contour. I would say is worth the price.

This lip crayon went on nice and smooth, and was decently transfer-resistant. After about 2 hours, I felt like it needed a bit of a touch-up, but my teeth were lipstick-free all night long, so that's a win in my book! The only real negative to this product is that the crayon is just too fat. I found it really difficult to get a perfect outline on my lips with this. Yes, you can sharpen it to a nice point (props for the built-in sharpener), but it goes blunt immediately, and to resharpen to a good point wastes SO much of the product. But all in all, would definitely recommend this, and in fact, I'm going to pick up a few more colours too. Didn't have any sort of moisturizing effect, but also didn't dry out my lips. Definitely was convenient to have both a liner and a lipstick all in one that I could easily toss in my bag. P.S. Own Your Empire is one of the nicest reds I've tried! Not too orange, not too dark. Just a beautiful classic red. (photos show how it looks both indoors and out!) 2 Month Use Update: After snagging this lip pencil in two more colours (Enjoy the View and Stay Exceptional) and using it on a regular basis, I had to come back and update my review regarding how sharp/fat this pencil is. Once you get used to it and practice for a while, it becomes SO easy and fast to apply! My goodness, if I hadn't experienced it for myself, I wouldn't have believed it. "Enjoy the View" is my regular go-to colour now, and I haven't even bothered to sharpen it once yet. It's completely rounded over, but I still manage to apply it cleanly in about 60 seconds. Also a note on "Enjoy the View" -- this colour is a pretty decent dupe for the colour "Desert" in Revlon's Ultra HD Gel Lipstick. So if you're a "Desert" user like I have been for years but you want something that's less likely to transfer to your teeth, then I highly recommend you try "Enjoy the View"!

This color is absolutely fantastic. Just the right red not too dark and is matte, so it wears quite a long time you’ll be shocked
