It's a true black. Sometimes picture could be inaccurate due to lighting, but all our black faux are true black

What temperature should I use to iron it?

do not apply high heat directly to the top. use a fabric in between the iron and the top color or iron from reverse side

Can i use headliner adhesive to stick this to a custom wood subwoofer box?

Yes! I used it for a subwoofer enclosure. Worked well with 3M adhesive and a 1/4 inch foam padding on top.
