This model has a cheaper amp, the silver model has the better amp TI LM4562 x1, not sure about the chipset.

can this support 250ohms? I'm getting a headset set soon that's 240ohms and I wanted to make sure this amp can push this headset to its full potential

This should be able to support up to 300ohms.

What to do when the mic port stops working?

I would try to reinstall the drivers and then also try using another USB port. If these don't help the unit could be defective.

Does the device offer for 2 audio sources to play at the same time? For example, game/chat audio from a ps4 and music from a pc?

This only provides 1 audio source such as the game-play/chat audio.
