Main Concern is/was fitting from Heater to Garden hose and vise versa. Those heater to garden hose fittings are included. Connections for cold water to tankless, no problem, connections from Pump (12v) no problem.At checkout I noticed the recommended items were Sureflow pump "Shurflo 2088-554-144 " (12v 45psi freshwater pump) and also strainer filter for pump "SHURFLO (255-313)" We included these items for our project, they work perfectly for our spa, reducing heating costs and stocking the house with an emergency tankless water heater for power outages or camping. It is very recommended to use CPVC rigid pipe lines with this heater, as using typical garden hoses or supplied "Red Shower hose wand" will come to stress with extended heat and or pressure.In conclusion yes this works great, these are common all over the world and very basic. If protected from elements and sediment this unit will last years.
