Censinda LED Camping Lantern, Solar Powered Collapsible Portable Light, Handheld Flashlight for Camping Hiking Night Fishing Emergency Hurricane Storm (Gold, 1 Pack)

I love this light. I had received a slightly larger version years ago that had a small fan concealed in it. This smaller version doesn't have the fan but it still packs a lot of utility into a lightweight package. The flashlight feature is extremely bright and is turned on using a convenient button (allows one hand operation). The unit pulls up to reveal the lantern function and has two folding handles that can be used to hang the light in camping or work situations. The lantern light is also very bright and illuminates automatically when the unit is pulled up, so avoid staring straight at the unit when expanding to activate the lantern feature. The unit can be charged using the integrated solar panel (just leave on a window sill) or by a short, included charging cable. The unit also has a standard USB port, which can be used to power a cell phone etc. The USB port is not used to charge the unit and no USB cable is included. Can't really go wrong with this light given the price. Really like the black color option. The one I received as a gift is gold color and continues to be as bright as ever, 15 years after I received it.

When I first bought this lamp I had gone off the specs from the Amazon site that stated that this lamp was 110/220V chargeable ... I guess that model has since been superseded by a USB chargeable model but the specs did not get updated ... and I was quite disappointed when it arrived. After stating that the seller then made the effort to make it right with me and also updated the wording/specs to reflect the new model. All in all this is a great camping lantern ... the pull out part is bright (just right bright) and the flashlight component is just a great idea! ... the whole fact that I can set that lamp outside during the day and then have it ready in the night without having to worry about batteries is just fantastic ... so after an initial 'hick-up' a very cool lantern.

The good:1. It's not very heavy or bulky for the function it provides.2. It is both a pop-up lantern and a flashlight. I have tested the unit as a lantern with a "full charge" and it gave me about 10 hours of light before dimming and when I shut it down after 12 hours, it was still lit.3. I like the solar recharge feature. You don't have to rely on batteries!4. The unit does also have the ability to be recharged with the provided AC adapter. The bad:1. Do not lose the aforementioned AC adapter. It has a proprietary end that fits the lantern, and you will not be able to replace it.2. As many reviewers have stated, there is no indicator light to let you know when the unit is charged. Most items that are rechargeable will feature a light that is lit during charging, and then will change color or turn off when charging is complete. The red indicator light on this unit lets you know the unit is charging, but does not let you know when it is done charging. The indicator light is always lit when plugged in or in the sunlight.I charged my lantern for 24 hours before using it the first time. I will recharge it for 12 hours each time thereafter.

Great camping lighting

I like that it's lightweight, small and solar. I purchased for camping and power outages. I like that it comes with a warranty and that it’s not only a lantern and flashlight but a power bank that I can charge my phone with, great when camping. I love that it’s solar. Perfect when you are camping with no electric around. Nice lanternWhat I don’t like is that it doesn’t seem to have an automatic stop charging when it’s done charging, you are told not to over charge it. Overall, it’s reasonable priced so you can own more than 1 and they are compact so they don’t take up a lot of space.

300 lumens is not a very bright light. These light up a tent at about the least amount of brightness possible to still be useful. I used this past the point that I could have returned it, otherwise I would have.

This is the second lantern I have ordered. Very handy in a power outage. Reasonably price. Will order again if needed. Easy to use. The brightness could be just touch brighter for those of us with cataracts but still is very helpful.

I park at the back of my house, and sometimes, I have to come in at night. This is the perfect little light to help me see where I am going. Good if you get up in the night and need a little light as well. You simply lift the top and the light is bright, you can adjust brightness by pushing the top down or lifting it up. It has a usb charger and it looks like solar too.
