This tub is going to last me forever! Fortunately, the container and ingredients are shelf stable because this would never fit in my fridge! Great value for the price and an amazing flavor bomb for a variety of dishes!

My local Trader Joe’s was out of this product so I ordered from this store on Amazon. Sadly the tub is much larger than I needed and the price far higher than I typically pay but I needed it quickly for a recipe. Paste is flavorful and good however the safety seal was broken when I received the item and much of the paste leaked out. That was a negative.

I bought this on a whim wanting "spice up" my breakfast/lunch meal. (pun not entirely intended). I frequently make some white rice, and stir in some eggs, and add a little bit of whatever I have around the house, mushrooms/sausage/peas/carrots/green peppers/onions. That's pretty flavorful, but I wanted something a little more. After some online recipe shopping I came across Gochujang. My little grocery store does not carry it, so I found this product on amazon. It has a decent amount of heat. I find Tabasco and Franks red hot and standard buffalo hot wings and jalapenos are a comfortable level of heat and this is a smidge hotter in my opinion. Also there is a fermented funkiness to this sauce that took a couple of tastes to acquire. This is more of a concentrate and not to be eaten alone (I took a small taste when I got it just to test...not great by itself). Mix it in other stuff.

Advertised as alcohol free and halal. Unfortunately the one I received has alcohol and isn’t halal

È la seconda volta che lo compro, la prima in formato più piccolo per paura non piacesse. È diventata la mia salsa preferita, quasi come una droga! È piccante abbastanza , va dosata con attenzione se è la prima volta che la assaggiata. Se mischiata ad altri condimenti, come salsa di soia o salsa di ostriche è spettacolare! Insomma sperimentate vari piatti coreani con questa salsa non ve né pentirete!

Very spicy,makes lovely Korean sauce, very easy to use and very versatile. I would definitely recommend if you like a bit of spice with nice flavour.
