The artful days-of-the-month side (bottom) is in a scrapbook style matching the art above it. Pages are thicker than paper calendars, seem to be 'laminated' with a matte finish (non-glare). Not a fan of over-used live-laugh-love 'inspirationals', I enjoy the smile-inducing messages (different for each month) this calendar delivers. Added bonus: it comes in a same quality, reusable envelope if you're into preserving calendar art - or for whatever else. The calendar size I bought is 24 1/16" X 13 7/16" fully opened. Then I was very disappointed to discover that it was the wrong size! I have a holder for 12x12 calendars. My last 3 Lang calendars have been 12x12.
