I read lots of reviews before deciding on these and we think we made the right choice!Pros:- the inner trays are removable and the trays themselves are dishwasher safe. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻- the sections in the trays are BIG! Although we use these for our preschooler, there is easily enough space to fit a full lunch for an adult or older child- these are truly sealed—as long as you close them correctly, contents of sections won’t leak into a neighboring section (we have our yogurt and applesauce in these and had no issues)- the stickers they come with are so so cute and made it fun for my three year old to decorate (and for me to label with her name)!- my three year old (who is a total threenager) thinks she is so cool with her compartmentalized lunch that she eats almost everything I pack! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻Cons:- I knocked off one of the latches the first time I opened it. It clicked right back in, but now I’m always super cautious and a little nervous I will break the latches- Wouldn’t it be amazing if the outer shell was also dishwasher safe?!?!? Perhaps too much to asked but I would love it!- I do sometimes struggle to get the inner tray out. Like to the point that I need to use a paper towel or something to help me grip when it’s dirty! Makes it easy to make sure that at least one box is ready to go for the next day. Only two comments I have are on cleaning and design.Cleaning: When cleaning, I found it impossible to take the box apart by hand for cleaning. I need to use a butter knife to dislodge the inner parts out for cleaning. However, it is a swift and clean motion and I don't see that I'm doing any damage to the boxes with my technique. This might matter to you if it's important that you are able to clean the box away from a kitchen space.Design: I think the box overall is a great size either for a child or an adult. That said, one design has more compartments than the other. The box with 4 compartments - 1 large rectangle, 2 smaller rectangles and a cylinder shape is better for a lunch with a sandwich or other larger lunch element plus sides. The box with more compartments is better for a lunch that comes in smaller pieces (for example, nuts or edamame) and has more parts. I even tried to force close it thinking maybe with a bit of force it’ll be okay and didn’t even close all the way. Tested it with water for its claim of leak proof and nothing came out but might be different if you put any other condiment? Still yet to test it to its full potential. Nonetheless, they’re good to pack in a backpack/bag when your out & about so whenever the little one gets hungry you can pull it out your backpack and give them their snacks with sandwhiches, or pb&j, and a drink, but do wish it wasn’t as pricy as $30 not including tax.. the colors are nice as well.
