Saved big money.
Repair guy wanted to charge like $80 for this part and like another $120 to put it in. He referred me to a Salesman to buy a new one. Glad there is someone out there to sell this stuff at a reasonable price. Part works like a charm!

Needed to make some wiring mods but this device seems to be working OK.
This PTC start device was reasonably priced and arrived quickly. It measured 30 ohms cold whereas the specs for my refrigerator say it should be 22 ohms but I don't think that should be an issue. The spade terminals on this part are 1/4 inch and my originals were a little narrower than that, so I did have to refit the wires in my refrigerator with the appropriate size terminals to fit the terminals on this unit without having to force them on. We'll see how long this will last.
