My daughter wears a 12 and I ordered the 13 and 1 thinking they might run small (based on some reviews) - the 1 was WAY too big and the 13 is still a little loose. I may keep the 13 so she has room to grow, but she definitely could have fit a 12 and been completely comfortable. However, the adult version of these shoes do run small! My older daughter wears a 2 and she ended up keeping the womens size 5. She'll have a little room to grow, but not too much. Very frustrating to me that the same style shoe runs differently depending on which sizing you're ordering. The shoes are made of a very soft leather and I like the stretchy material that goes around the sides and under the foot, seems like the shoe will be very flexible and comfortable to wear.
