First of all, the price can't be beat. $20 for this product is quite a bargain, especially considering my shock when I looked up that super famous shapewear brand that starts with an S and ends with an X and saw how crazy expensive it is. I am on a budget. Second of all, I haven't worn a dress in forever, and when I put on the dress I wanted to wear to my goddaughter's christening, I was very unhappy with certain lumps, bumps and my gut. I needed shapewear for sure. So I chose this product from the masses based on the price, other reviews, and the pictures. It seemed to look more natural than some of the others. I put it on and was very happy with the smoothness of the thigh and buttock area. The gut left a little to be desired. I was hoping it would pull in the gut a little tighter. HOWEVER, I figured out that if I folded the top half down, it offered a double helping of gut suction. So once I did that, I was very happy with how much it flattened my tummy. It wasn't TOTALLY flat, which I think would be unrealistic to expect, but folding the top half down greatly improved the overall look. Lastly, the garment was cool, comfortable, not overly tight so I could breath and sit just fine, and my dress looked very pretty on me over the garment. I would equate the fabric to almost like a thick layer of pantyhose, and it was nice and breathable, and caused no sweating on what was a hot and stressful day. I received many compliments on my appearance.
