Strange times
All good and seems more robust than cheaper converters I've bough before, but for some reason I'm not unable to hear phone call audio through my headphones... It works fine for music and the people on the other end of the phone can hear my audio from the microphone on my headphone lead, but their audio comes out the phone speakers and I can't seem to change it. Using a Huawei Honor 20 and never had this problem with other converters... Strange, and rather irritating

Do not buy. 2 month lifespan...
The title says it all, really. The aim of these companies is to purposely create products of inferior quality that do the job just long enough so that you are past the return window and that your money is safely in their pockets. I need a 3.5mm jack to usb c converter because my Google Pixel did what every other company did and got rid of the earphone jack so you are pressured to either get their wireless buds or pay for an adapter. Are they fooling anyone at this point? We KNOW we have to buy these products because you went out of your way to add in an unnecessary step which doesn't innovate or inspire "courage" as Apple puts it that just so happens to make you a little more money. Perhaps some people cannot afford or want these Galaxy or Pixel buds and so must pay a sort of poor person's tax (the adaptor) to be able to use their inexpensive earphones/headphones. I guess you can buy cheaper wireless earphones but I feel sorry for those who will learn the hard way as they find they cannot compete with wired for any given price. Find me any so-called audiophile who will praise the wireless over the wired. My frustrations run deep with these gutter practises where creating a reliable and long lasting product is far less profitable than repeat purchases of the same product, only intentionally made worse in every way. How unbelievably wasteful these companies are yet the blame will always be put on the consumer somehow. I purchased the Google version of this item also and it barely lasted longer and has no audible effect on sound quality when compared to the Samsung converter. They are basically the same product with a different logo attached. I will be looking elsewhere for another cheaply made converter which I hope can last at least a year but if experience has taught me anything it is that I'd have better luck finding gold on the moon.

want to use apple headphones with your samsung then you need this
emables me to use my apple earbud head phones with my samsung and experience full volume. the microphone on apple wired headphones also work, so i can make and end calls too. the apple integrated volume up and down doesnt work, but the connect disconnect button does. if you have a samsung and want to use headphones, this is the usbc adaptor to use. i have tried an apple version of this usbc adaptor, however on a samsung they reduce the volume level so much its unusable. get this proper samsung adaptor for your samsung phone, it works. just wish samsung made headphones like apple did, but this adaptor makes it work for me.

My brother says this works well - Wish they had them in other colours though
So, my brother bought a more up to date Samsung smartphone and then a couple of months later he bought himself some over the ear headphones from a well known brand. Ahhh. He only realised after purchasing the headphones that his phone did not have an AUX port which now seems to be the norm with the more up to date smartphones. I saw this jack adaptor and bought it for him and he says it works very well. The only point I would critique is I wish it came in black and white as a black colour would have better suited his black phone and been less conspicuous. Aesthetics aside - it is a good product.

Samsung going eco friendly again? I think not, got to love the greens...
So, like their friends in Cupertino, our large Korean conglomerate has decided that it makes the devices better for the environment if you don't have a TRRS connector (3.5mm Headphone socket to you and me) on your new phone because well you are doing the planet a favour, and the device can be smaller. If you want headphones then they also *sell* Bluetooth earbuds that you can *buy* that contain lithium, copper, gold, and all other natural resources that consume energy to make package ship, sell and use, or you can use your old earphones/buds/headphones with an adapter that you have to *buy* which they *sell* and package up, and ship to you. If the phones were green, you'd be able to change the battery with simple tools... Well under the guise of being green they sell more products and use more fuel in shipping and energy in packaging. Really you couldn't make it up. Onto this, the device allows you to plug an old set of headphones etc in, (meaning you are saving the planet), into your new phone, so you don't need to buy new. It works well and the sound is perfect when using it. I use it with a set of old Sennheiser CX300 II earbuds which sadly you can no longer get (unless they are counterfeit) and the sound is great. They could quite simply have bundled one of these adapters in the box with the phone, its small and doesn't weigh much but this you have to buy, so we can see where this is going, you don't even get a set of cabled headphones in the box with the right connector on it as you did before anymore either. I bought this direct from Amazon, I don't trust the sellers, I don't really want to put something in my ear canal connected to something else that can fry my braincells with a zillion volts made in a factory with little QA, I'm kind of funny like that, so it means you might have to wait as stock seems limited. Its also **grossly** overpriced for what it is, which is probably why the counterfeiters are all over it like a cheap suit. Good for the environment nah, good for Samsung's bottom line... Absolutely.

Klare Empfehlung!

Good quality, has higher volume boost with the DAV than cheaper alternatives for sale.

I use this to adapt my favorite type of headphones to my Note10+, since they removed the 3.5mm jack. Works wonderfully! Only issue is... You cannot charge your phone and use this adapter at the same time unless you are charging wirelessly.
