Self-heating hot pot(3 flavor availalbe) (New Tomato)

Item came arrived very quickly...in perfect shape and exactly as advertised. High quality ingredients, heating and soup bowl, spoon and chop sticks. Super easy to use as you have probably already read...add all the truly VERY VERY nice and fresh looking ingredients ( 4 sperate packages - no dry dehydrated stuff .. only very tasty fresh ingredients you can literally eat right out of the package if you wanted ) put them the white bowl then add a little water to the line on the bowl and mix around nicely to blend the suace. Then add water to the black bowl to the line in the bowl - not very much- and open the self heating pack and set it in the water. Then put the white bowl in the black bowl and put on the lid to keep the heat in. Within about a minute you see steam coming out of the vent of the lid. After 15 minutes - I waited 17 .. open the lid and you have a big bowl of delicious hot pot meal. You can leave the white bowl in the black bowl to eat it..the little water in the bottom of the heating bowl is pretty much gone or obsorbed into the heating pack. It tastes really nice...it has a fresh home cooked flavor that makes you want to eat every drop - everything is quality and actually looks like it was just prepared from fresh ingredients. I immediately ordered another one with a different flavor and I will keep buying them. NOTE: The chopsticks are nice quality and they come in two pieces ( to be able to fit in the package) and you just snap them together... they are so nice you can wash them and use them over.

I liked it. Tasted good. Only thing is the price is a bit expensive. At the end of the day it's a glorified instant soup. Granted it does have the cooker but next time I'd get it without that. Although I wanted to try it so I was fine paying extra. Just a tip. Make sure you are ready to put the inner pot into the outer shell as soon as you add water to the cooker. DONT wait and see if it is getting warm. It's an instant reaction and takes about 5 seconds for it to go from room temp to hot water bubbling and steaming. I made the mistake of checking it and it was hard to add the inner pot without burning myself. I did it just fine but was shocking how fast it heated.

I actually really love this product! I was very skeptical of this product at first, however, when I tried this, I ended up really loving it! So easy to make, taste fantastic! Came with noodles, pickled vegetables, and the soup base to eat! I will be buying more of these and will try to add more options into the pot to make my experience even better like easily adding protein. Really enjoyed how hot the soup was after it was ready to be consumed. Really thought it was going to be lukewarm or extremely hot, but it came out perfect in my opinion! Everyone needs to know about this product! Would be a great item to bring with me if I were to go camping or something! Wonder what else I could I can add or bring this to.

Be aware that this is not fine to eat if you have a Sufite allergy/sensitivity or if you are on a reduced sodium diet as one of these is double a normal recommended daily intake of sodium. If none of those are a concern, and you don't mind the inflated price, these are great and you should try it at least once. If you enjoy it, and like very spicy food, also give their spicy version a try.

Most of the instant hotpots available on the market are spicy so it was nice being able to enjoy a meal without my mouth going numb from szechuan spice. That said, in comparison the flavor is not as rich. The whole pot is very acidic tasting because of the tomato and preserved veggies. For the price, I'd rather get something else instead, but would not mind getting it again if there was a price drop or sale.

I was so bummed. I had been so excited to give this a try, I wanted the experience and the flavor and I was SO excited to try the lotus root. It just looked like it'd be so delicious. The high hopes I had were super super let down. The flavor that was there was terrible. It tasted like nothing but chemicals. The plastic packaging I think maybe had some major off gassing or something. The first bite I took I thought it was odd and then the second bite reminded me of what chlorine pool water smells like. I threw it out right after that. I was really hoping to love this but I unfortunately didn't and definitely don't feel that it's worth the price tag. The portion size would've been wonderful if it didn't taste like I was eating plastic. I won't be getting these again sadly.

If I’m being completely honest, wasn’t all that good, everything including packaging was perfect, taste wise, like tomato soup but it’s not adding flavor to the actual ingredients. Oily and bland is the best way to describe it, won’t be ordering again but it was a nice little experience.

The tomato broth comes out smooth with no chunks. The taste is very similar to a thin tomato soup but with more of a sweetness to it. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the lotus root was, especially since it was my first time trying it. I strongly prefer this flavor over the spicy one. It was worth the $15.
