Greatly reduced back pain
Very good at relieving back pain. The first few times I used it, I questioned my purchase as it was uncomfortable. But once my back loosened up a little, it became more comfortable to use and use for longer sessions. After a month of use, I had a fraction of the back pain/issues I had previously. After about two months, the wheel cracked and customer service from the company was awful. Multiple emails and messages went unanswered for weeks, so I ordered a new one from Amazon. Soon after, two warranty replacements show up without any communication from the company!?! Kinda weird, but they came through in the end, so that's good. Overall I'd recommend this product for relieving back pain, but I'm no doctor. Individual results may vary and other generic disclaimers....

Immediate Relief and Noticeable Results. Highly Effective! 6 Stars!
I've dealt with persistent back pain from years of office work, and the Chirp Back Wheel has significantly improved my daily comfort. After only a short period of consistent use, I've noticed immediate relief and greater flexibility in my back and shoulders. The wheel is well-made, strong, and feels secure under my weight during stretches. The medium 10-inch size is perfect—it provides a balance of comfort and deep pressure, effectively targeting stubborn knots and tension areas that traditional stretching never quite reached. I find it incredibly easy to use: just a few slow rolls each morning and evening are enough to relieve stiffness and improve posture. Initially, the sensation is intense (in a good way), but quickly becomes soothing and therapeutic after a few uses. While some reviewers mentioned durability concerns, my experience so far has been nothing but positive. The wheel feels sturdy and solidly constructed. It's become an essential part of my wellness routine, greatly reducing my reliance on painkillers and professional chiropractic visits. Overall, if you're looking for a simple yet powerful tool to alleviate chronic back tension or improve spinal flexibility, this back wheel is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended.

Perfectly targets the back muscles that run along the spine.
Very well designed specifically for hitting the back muscles that run along side the spine with the key detail of having a channel that does not put direct pressure on the spine bone itself. The narrowness of it makes it really dig into the muscles unlike a regular wide foam roller that is wider and spreads out the pressure. I still use my regular foam roller but the Chirp hits that really good spot around your spine. The Chirp can crack your back, but I feel like that not made for that. A regular foam roller will do that just fine. This is a pin point tool to target the long mucles that run along the spine. The quality feel pretty good but I can feel it flexing a decent amount. Being made of plastic, albeit, high quality plastic, I can see it will probably break from going thru the stress cycles of flexing from daily use. I plan to find a piece of dense foam to fill the hole. If the engineers ever decide to place a round piece of steel to reinforce the plastic, that would be amazing and also probably double the cost. ^_^

Loved it but it broke after 8 months
I loved my chirp wheel. I had a lot of back pain. It hurt to move. I bought this chirp wheel and used it every day. It would crack my back and make it feel so much better. The pain disappeared and I felt so much younger! I would recommend it to anyone. However, I took off one star because it only lasted 8 months before it cracked and broke. I believe this product could and should be made more durable.

Effective for Mid and Lower Back Stretches
I was a bit doubtful as to the quality and effectiveness of this product. I have been pleasantly surprised at how well it works. The wheel is made out of quality materials and not cheap plastic. I have been using it to loosen up my back muscles and was surprised that it adjusted my mid and lower back. I try to use it daily for a few minutes. This is not as effective on my upper back. I am not sure how effective this would be for someone who is not able to balance on their back using their feet for support - like prepping to do a backbend. Overall, I am impressed with this roller.

I used this every day until it inexplicably cracked.
This product was fine while it worked. For whatever reason, these Chirp Wheels tend to crack so I never recommend them to others. Aside from durability, I will say that the groove for your spine that runs down the middle of the wheel is a gimmick. It makes no real difference. I use a cheaper, shoulder-width roller without the groove too. It feels just as good—better, actually, because of the width—and I would recommend it over any of the Chirp wheels. FWIW, I use multiple wheels and rollers twice a day, every day. Bottom line: Three stars.

Worth it
First use and I finally got the kink out in my upper back that has been bugging me for a month. And my neck feels less stiff now. A little tricky to balance on. The smaller size is a little painful but it’s worth it to get deep pressure for stubborn spots that are hard to crack.

Worth it
This thing saves my back. I use it multiple times a day to stretch my back and pop it. I own all the sizes and this is my favorite wheel.

After using this to straighten my spine, it does what it suppose to and I have better back posture! THANKS, CHIRP!

Helps roll out the knots.

I love this, works great for rolling out my back, especially the upper back between my shoulder blades. I work a desk job so there is pain and tension in my upper back but this roller helps a lot. My back feels almost brand new. Expensive but worth it considering that I use it so often.

I really liked the concept of this back stretcher, but the 6-inch deep tissue wheel was not comfortable for me at all. It felt too intense on my back and didn’t give me the relaxing stretch I was hoping for. After following the company’s guidance, I ordered the 10-inch version instead, which is supposed to be more suitable for beginners and regular use. I haven’t received the 10" wheel yet, so I’m reserving full judgment until I can try that one. For now, if you’re new to this type of back roller or have a sensitive back, the 6" may be too aggressive. I’ll update my review after using the 10" version.
