Best Overall - MW65
Due to extensive travelling (and poor impulse control), I have a number of the top rated noise cancelling headphones - Sony WH-1000XM3, Bose 700, B&O H9 and now the MW65's. My two 20 something sons enjoy this hand me down process. In a quick summary:- Bose 700: Best overall noise cancelling but lowest performing on the sound quality. Comfort is exceptional due to light weight. Call quality, connection stability and microphone clarity are all good. Clearly designed for the frequent traveler. For consistency of product and function, these are your best bet.- Sony WH-1000XM3: Very close to the Bose 700's on noise cancelling and better for overall sound quality thought slightly weighted towards a bit too much bass. Call quality is reasonable and battery life is very good. These fit well but got hot and sweaty over a long distance flight. These are very well priced for the quality, though visually less appealing than the Bose or other two.- B&O H9i: Design and construction quality were much better than the previous two with a true premium feel. Sound quality was exceptional and a significant step up from the Bose and slightly more 'true' than then the Sony's. Battery life was not quite as good either of the previous, nor was call quality. These are a beautiful product design but the circular shape of the ear cups are not suitable for everyone and the price is very high.- MW65: These are beautifully designed headphones with high quality materials and a compelling retro look. In comparison to the extremely good sound of the B&O's, Master and Dynamic have raised the bar and have really hit the sweet spot with their 40mm drivers. The headphones handle a wide range of music without over emphasizing any EQ level. The noise cancelling is good, though not quite at the level of Bose, but more than adequate for managing airplane noise. These are very comfortable and light, so very easy to wear over an extended period of time.Taking all into account all of my personal priority preferences (design, comfort, sound quality) and factoring them in with the other key issues (noise cancelling, call quality, battery life), the MW65's came out on top. As many of you will know, Master and Dynamic does not have an app so do not provide firmware updates. Instead, they believe that their combination of innovative approach and commitment to quality makes them ready for the long term when they come out of the box.

Very expensive for sub par headphones
The look and build of these headphones is very good with real leather and aluminium used in prettyuch every part of the headset.Sound is ok but not what I would have expected for this price range.Earcups are really narrow so your ear dosent fit into the cups which causes fatigue after about 40 mins of use.Noise cancelling is also under par and dosent compete with the likes of Sony or Bose. For nearly £400 I expected a lot more and ended up returning.

everything about these headphones is meh
what a disaster, pure crap. feels like the cheapest aluminum, leather looks good but doesn't make up for anything, in the past they've used magnetic detachable ear pads, oh lord. i took mine off out of curiosity and now I literally cannot get it to stay on whatsoever. It's permanently detached.i studied engineering and even i cant see what the **** was holding this thing together. laughable.I seriously recommend against these headphones. everyone else is falling for the charm of premium materials but that's where it ends the drivers are weak, the sound is dull. not loud enough to satisfy me at all.please, please. please do not get these I promise you with all my heart they just aren't worth it. I literally can't get the ear cup back on. they've put no effort into this and they don't deserve your money. for another £150 you could have the AirPods max which is overpriced but unmatched.
