2019-10-08 I was raised on a dairy farm and we always had dirt bikes, 3-wheeler's, and 4-wheeler's growing up. These days my nieces and nephews ride the toys and the adults watch/ride with them . . . once in awhile my brother and I might race on the four wheeler's for the fun of it :oD I was using a helmet that I purchased 25 years ago . . . general rule of thumb is to replace a helmet every 5 years (according to google) . . . . Needless to say I am long over due for a new helmet. I saw this helmet and decided to try it out. Pros: *Helmet liner has snap buckles and can come in/out with ease for cleaning - this will be awesome being that I typically ride on hot summer days in Wisconsin and you never know how much dirt/sweat has accumulated in the padding of the helmet. In addition, if the helmet is shared with anyone else, I know I will be able to clean it out well! *The dual visor will be handy for me. I am typically riding in wooded areas on warm days with buckthron, I will be able to put the outside visor down while riding through the wooded area to protect my face, then put it up and put the inner sun shield down when I am riding through the open field area - this will also allow the helmet to breath so the inside of the helmet won't fog up on me; plus I won't have to squint or wear sun glasses inside of my helmet anymore, which will provide additional comfort while riding. The nice part about this helmet is that both visors can be down at the same time. *If I want, I can also remove the visors and wear riding goggles; so my options are endless when it comes to eye/face protection. *The quick release safety buckle will be handy to use, especially with riding gloves on. I lose dexterity in my hands with riding gloves and it's hard to fasten the chin strap of my old helmet through the D-Hooks. This chin strap will be easy to secure and release at anytime with riding gloves. *The helmet is DOT Certified for the rider safety Cons: *None at this time FYI *My forehead size is ~23 inches (58.42 cm). I am right between the Medium and the Large helmet size. I chose to go with the medium one (figuring a firm fitting helmet would be better than one that was slightly lose on my head). The medium was the right choice because the helmet fits great! I'm going to probably try this helmet out with my motorcycle as well (1997 - 883 Harley Davidson); right now I have a half helmet that I normally use, but that half helmet is probably past it's life as well. If I remember, I will update my post after I try this helmet out a few times, I'm excited to use it right now!

This is a great helmet and it looks really good. It does not fog up easily. It is very comfortable, maybe the most comfortable helmet I have ever worn. I believe it is safe as well being DOT approved. It fits perfect. True to size. It has a nice amount of air flow to keep your head cool while riding.

It fits well and it supposedly is ECE rated. Not sure how at a price tag of $60, but I guess I’ll have to trust it. There are a few things I don’t like about this: Lens are not optically correct, so it slightly warps your vision. The lens probably fogs badly. I say this because it fogs up at even at 70degrees. Once you get moving, the front vent will clear the fog. Which brings us to another problem, the front vent is blocked off from blowing on your face. However, the air flows upward through the visor vent which is what clears up fog as you move. The lid leak causes lift, even at 20 mph. Overall, it’s ok, but you get what you pay for. I bought this to use while I’m on my scooter, so it works fine and is way better than bicycle helmets for the same cost and has more features, like the sun visor, as well as providing better protection albeit slightly overkill. I wouldn’t buy this to ride a motorcycle though unless it’s just slow speeds.

Have bought several of these helmets. Hard to beat the quality and functionality for the price. Mostly use them on our ATV and SxS.

I may come back to revise this later. For the money (paid $60) I think it’s excellent considering most helmets cost twice as much or more. That said, the adjustment for the chin strap is small and difficult to adjust, but once it is set, the actual mechanism for closing it is great and easy to operate. Where it’s lacking though is padding, especially on the top of the head where it’s like 1/4” thick. Compared to my other motorcycle helmets it has dramatically thinner padding that may end up leading to me just returning it, though we will see if it can be comfortable for a whole ride. The integrated visor system seems well designed and I like that. The overall look of it is also excellent. Size is accurate enough, I’d maybe have gone a size smaller than I usually do given the padding and fact that I’m used to having thick pads all the way around.

This is such a great helmet! As an avid dirt bike/quad rider I love that it has not only the built in clear visor but also has the secondary sun visor! Goggles are great but this just makes everything so much easier. Great ventilation, and fit is great! Purchased this one for my daughter, but all use this brand!

I ordered a large as that was the exact measurement of my head and it fits perfectly with my balaclava I wear under my helmets but if you were to order it without using a motorbike balaclava I would recommend going a size down. I know it's so hard to gain that perfect fit but Westt have done an amazing job and is an amazing fit and I like my motorbike helmets to fit tight. So if you do like it very slightly loose then go for their recommended size as it will be perfect. Very happy with my purchase and arrived quickly.
