can you use a snowboard on this

I've never tried to snowboard on it, but I don't see why you couldn't. It's not very long tho.

This item is described as being for bmx as well as skateboarding but the video only shows skateboarding. is this actually good for bmxers as well?

I Dont know why not. Its sturdy as hell.

Does this item turn into a quarter pipe?

No it's just a grind box of sorts. It has two different height legs that come with it. That way you can set it up with a down slope if you want. Its pretty fun.
