Easy to install!
I did a ton of research on brake controls from my truck. I pull a 3 horse bumper pull trailer and needed something reliable. The plug and play feature made this easy to install in my ram. It is easy to adjust the settings and I love that you can change the colors on the screen.

Great product.
I bought this break controller to install on my 2007 Sequoia. Just got a 27' camper trailer, needed to control the trailer breaks. It was very easy to install, the instructions were very helpful in identifying where the plug connector was on my vehicle. The device plugged right in, wires were long enough, very happy with performance. No trouble stopping with the 7000lb trailer.

Best in the business & worth every penny
Hands down the best aftermarket brake controller in the business. A breeze to install and so easy to use. I pull a 4,500 lb. travel trailer with my 2015 Toyota Tacoma and it performs flawlessly. I love the different brake boost settings that allow you to customize your braking experience. After putting a cheap $40 Curt Venturer on my 2007 Chevy Tahoe that performed horribly, I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for with brake controllers. Worth every penny.

Works well, I would buy it again
Super easy to use, works very well. It knows when the trailer brake wire isn't connected, which helped me track down an open connection in my trucks wiring harness. It's small and not really noticeable. I wish the screen could be programmed to turn off completely. Or a power button would be nice. Kind of annoying at night, when not towing anything, but I can dim the screen down to a reasonable level. I also wish it had a light sensor to adjust the screen brightness automatically. The screen can change colors, but some of them flicker constantly, which limits the color choices unless you want to see a flickering screen. Also some of the screen colors aren't even close to the color they are labeled. But these things are minor and don't really affect the operation, which is very good. The manual control know is very useful and easy to regulate.

Works well with heavy tandem axle four brake trailer
This is the first time I've needed a trailer brake controller so I have no reference but since my truck has the brake connector under the dash it took less than an hour to install. I found this type of controller easy to setup plus it has a troubleshooting display I actually used to diagnose a faulty brake connection. Pulling a 9500lb tandem trailer on 800 mile trip including Colorado mountains I had no braking issues at all.

Great controller, easy set up
Easy to install on '06 Tundra, custom wiring harness fit perfectly, though no extra slack. Routed over the top of the brake fitting and it just reached the existing wiring plug. (Don't forget to remove the plug covering the wiring connector, took me a few minutes to figure that out.) The ground wire needs to be installed as they say the existing wiring isn't quite up to the draw of the braking systems; I found a good ground point near the OEM connector. Set up was easy and I really like the option to set up multiple trailers plus adding Boost. I thought I would set up for loaded and unloaded trailers, but found that setting the brake level for the empty trailer, then adding 1 level of Boost when loaded worked just fine. (1600# trailer plus 2200# Miata) The display is quite bright even when set on the lowest setting, but I've sort of gotten used to it. When I'm done towing for a while, I will probably put a bit of electrical tape over the display.

Works very well
I installed this on a 2013 Tundra. I ended up leaving it on the left side of the driver's sitting area so I didn't have to route the wires. It was simple to find the existing plug, since I have a tow package, and plug it in. I just pushed the wires down inside the kick panel. Oh, also note the ground bolt that is trivially available. Just lift the kick panel a bit, and bolt is right there. No drilling needed. I don't know what they used in the install video, but it appeared to me that the steel was substantial and it was very tight to drill and work in that area. Anyway. Good controller.

Excellent Controller - Works Well
Works great! The only odd thing was that the instructions say the controller will turn off after about 15 minutes after shutting off tow vehicle, however this did not start happening until towing a trailer a couple of times. First time it took about 12 hours for it to shut off. Second time about 2 hours. After this it has been shutting off as stated. I read numerous Internet posts of others having same issue and in some cases it never shuts off. Don't know why this would be, but it will not run the battery down even if it stays on for extended times. Otherwise it's a very easy install (or mine was since my truck is prewired) and it works very well. I mounted mine with a 2x4 piece of industrial Velcro for use with temps up to 140 degrees since there's not many places these days to solidly mount a bracket. I took the little latch piece off the top of the controller that is used with the pocket mount and put the Velcro directly onto the top of the controller. It's more solidly mounted than it would be using the supplied bracket and made it far easier to get to than if I had used the bracket.

The wiring harness advertised to fit a 2016 Tacoma was the wrong harness, as it will not fit. Iโd suggest that whoever sells these sets ensures they are selling the appropriate harnesses. Especially considering the cost factor. End result I had to order the correct harness. Not a happy purchaser
