Had bought a previous pair of trainer chucks but they wouldn't stand up to the blows when hitting heavy bag. These definitely will but they are very heavy and you could seriously injure yourself or do damage to property. With that said I've had them for almost a year now and they have not broken. The chain was a little long which is actually a good thing if you have bigger hands better to be able to cut it down than to have to add a chain link fairly simple to shorten chain just pop the pin out with a center punch. Would definitely buy again

Great chucks. Wish it has two fewer chain links, but they're still fun. And yes, they do hurt. Other people said something about having a problem with the smell, saying their hands smelled like rubber after using them every time. Bah. I never noticed that at all. Been using these for a few months now. Would recommend for your collection.

First of all these are not a super soft rubber or foam material - they a firm rubber. My point is you can still end up getting some knots and bruises but not to the extent of wood or metal chucks. It's not a bad thing but if you're looking for a completely beginner pair these could be a little too hard.That being said these are great quality for the price.

Too heavy for casual practice. I am concern that it may damage furniture if I am not careful. And since it is rubber it is not really lethal enough as a self-defense weapon.

Great for training, heavier than the wooden ones I had, I figure if I can move this heavier one that good with a lighter one it'd be like a helicopter

The one thing I would feel was my responsibility to mention is that these ae NOT TOYS .. they are like rubber bullets. You could use these as non-lethal weapons
