After doing extensive reading on the subject I purchase the products. I have to say I have gained some relief. As in America our way of thinking and acceptance to health care and treatment is backwards, doctors here treat the symptoms and not address the cause of the problem. Over the years I have bought 2 of these massager with 0 benefit, after the first one malfunctioned I gave Artemis a 2nd chance when the first one stopped working. The first one motor just smoked and I smelled a strong plastic burning smell. I contacted the manufacturer, a Canadian firm which specialises making substandard products, so no phone or email reaponse contact,nada nothing. I gave ample time to respond and explain but no feedback.Now for the general good I want you all to know how bad this product is! its actually a health hazard. I was using it and gentlly massaging the prostrate and snap it broke off just like that. Not only was it extremely painful but it splintered absolutely horrific, luckily a friend of mine RN who was over quickly started to work on it and helped extract it. Stay aware and stat away Amazon also didn’t do anything to facilitate the rma process

At 63 years of age, I was in dire straits with having to urinate 9-10 times a night. Low urination streams and seemingly never emptying the bladder. Other symptoms were incontinence and very low libido and lack of ejaculate. It was very worrisome and uncomfortable. After extensive reading about my condition, I purchased this product in October 2015, even though I was skeptical. I never visit doctors because I have no faith in their "healing". I am now 65 and have to say I have gained full relief. I received the Sonic Prostrate Massager within 2 days of ordering. I’ve only used the device one time so my 4 star rating is only based upon this one initial experience. I know my own body pretty well and have been aware of having a sensitive prostrate for about 20 years. First with bicycling and then later sitting down for a long drive or simply sitting in a chair for long periods can interfere with good healthy bathroom regularities. Quite a few reviewers mentioned the 'loose or flexible stem' on the massager and at least one reviewer had used an epoxy as a fix. What I did was hold the massager by the stem close to where you'd normally grab the device. For me this seemed to rectify the loose or flexible stem problem. I used the device 3 days after receiving it and for me I could tell that it holds much promise and hopefully for many men. I was already beginning to recover from 2 weeks of being incredibly uncomfortable before my first trial with the Sonic Massager. I just turned 73 and had to learn to eat even healthier than ever. Eating a lot of meat creates an acidic environment. Smoking and caffeine can aggravate prostatitis! Cut down on dairy too. I try to do some sort of exercise or workout every day, even for just 20 minutes. Consistency counts. Posture counts. Stay hydrated. Since I know my symptoms I can work on the problem. I do feel more confident knowing I have this device in case of flair ups. Thanks and take care of yourselves!

I hate to give this 3-stars, so I'll give it four, because it's the only product on the market. But the truth needs to be heard by the creators of this product. It really works well. I have 2 qualms: 1) The build quality is not great. I had to tape the connecting ring together and be careful about over-tightening, to avoid further cracking. Other reviews confirm this. Figure out a more robust build and this would be nearly perfect. 2) The wand itself is still rather large. It should be as small as possible (which would help with the other problem). I am able to deal with it, but straight men want the SMALLEST possible wand stuck up their RUMP! It's kind of funny, but true....even a 25% reduction of circumference would prob. be better for most normal dudes. This isn't a sex toy, and the vibrations may carry better with a smaller wand. That said, it does exactly what it's supposed to do, and I will gorilla glue/tape the circular tightening ring to avoid buying another. It would sell more with those adjustments.

My story: My prostate woes started at an early age of 36 when I got prostate infection. My urologist was not sure what exactly caused it, but his theory was that it was due to earlier severe bladder infection. I was put on 2 weeks antibiotic treatment (Cipro), which initially seemed to have been effective and discomfort went away after 7 days but to my great discontent the symptoms returned after just 2-3 weeks. My urologist advised that there is not much that can be done… and that I could alleviate my symptoms partially by adopting a healthier life style as pertains to diet and exercise, but I would have to learn to live with the condition and symptoms. I wanted to get another opinion and went to see a number of other urologists in the city, all of whom gave me similar unfortunate assessment. I found a local clinic that offered that service and signed up for 4-week treatment with 2-3 sessions a week. 3 weeks into I started to notice some days that the symptoms were much less severe and some days I felt completely NORMAL as I did before! I can’t describe the feeling of hope and happiness I felt and was determined to continue to pursue this treatment! However, I wanted to find a better way to practice the massage as the clinic visits were becoming costly and time consuming. I found that the Sonic massager is a great alternative option. It’s a great and simple to use device and much less intrusive then other massagers offered online. I’m able to use it whenever I need to and as long as I need to. Now two years later after my initial diagnosis, I’m very happy to report that my symptoms are between very mild and non-existent! I practice massage with the Sonic Massager once every only 2-5 times a month and more frequently when the symptoms flare up (usually in the winter). this product has a collar made of plastic that is too wide for the receiving end ( the prostate attachment in this case). so if you tighten it normally , it will be loose and the arm will rotate and won't hold its position, if you tighten it harder, you might brake it because the inner system is made of plastic thins. Also the vibration is such that it would be compared to a cheap toy because the vibration is not transmitted enough to the arm ( the prostate attachment), the vibration still stays in your arm, that makes it weaker amount of vibration that goes to the desired area. Also the arm itself is weak and cannot tighten up properly, so the arm swivel and is not sturdy when inserting it. In general it is a great idea , but poorly executed. the entire machine is built out of plastic and looks and feels cheap and inadequate for a supposedly medical grade item. I was very disappointed and disheartened not to be able to use it for its intended purpose.

This hemorrhoid/prostate massager is useless! Its flimsy and once in the rectum has little to no vibration. Don’t waste your money like I did.
