Sunday Afternoons Adventure Hat

Love love love this hat I had one before, but it was a boring khaki and I lost it. This hat is super cute. Love the color. It actually covers your face and neck. It's well-made. You can tighten it up. Why aren't more hats made like this ? I do a lot of outdoor stuff like hiking. hiking backpacking., I run And paddle board in it. I hope I never lose this hat. It's a medium large and I am a small woman and it fits perfect. All other hats Including the big names which I've bought like Northface are crap compared to this hat.

I had already owned a Sunday Afternoon hat, which I got at the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show, more than five years ago. I knew I had found something special. Recently, my son started wearing it due to a new outdoor job, so I ordered a new one for myself. This hat is worth every penny. Quality construction, lightweight, great coverage area around ears, face and neck, breathable, easily stored, great fitment, safety string for those fast boat rides. honestly, I never thought I’d write a review about a hat, but the reason I’m doing it, is because of the irrevocable quality and design process behind this hat. Measure your head, order the right size. It is also somewhat adjustable, so it fits as tight or as lose as your want. Oh, I ended up getting one for my wife, also, and she loved it. Well worth it, I highly recommend it!

I absolutely love this thing. The coverage is amazing, it stays put, is comfortable, and is easy to pack. It is not the most stylish but I bought it for coverage, not for looks. I wore it on a 14 mile hike in strong Northern California sun in July and it was awesome at keeping the sun off my face and neck.

I have to be very careful in the sun due to a medical condition. I also unfortunately have a very small head. So finding a hat to provide protection from the sun that actually fits my head is extremely difficult. I have ,literally ,a pile of expensive sun hats which I've tried to wear, only to find them simply too large. The adjustment on this hat really works well, and I can actually get it small enough to fit my head. It looks nice , and provides really good protection. The drape is the longest I've seen. It can be pulled up and attached with velcro if you need it shorter, as when you're in the water. So if you need good protection from the sun ,this is a really good hat. The price is decent, too,as I have paid a lot more for other hats that just ended up in the reject pile.

Finally found a hat that doesn't make my head hot but keeps the sun off. The ability to put neck flap up or down is very nice also. Works great for hiking, fishing, sitting on beach, or yard work.

I've owned several of these hats, so I must be basically satisfied. They do a great job in the sun, even in the desert. But I do have one critique. Why can't they use plastic inside the brim instead of cardboard? That way you could throw the hat in the washing machine. Also the brim would stand up better in the wind, instead of flipping back when the wind is in you face.

At first I didn't think it would work well while cutting lawn for more than 3 hours in the Florida sun. It is so lightweight. I've only used heavier hats. The hat I was currently using, was too small, and hurt my head when I forced it on. It was difficult to decide which size to purchase, as my head was very slightly too big for the smaller size. I bought the larger size and it adjusts well. I like the thin strap for keeping it on if it's windy. I would buy again. I feel protected, and unlike my other sun hats, it's so light, it feels like it's not there!

I love this hat! I wear it everyday at work as I am a pool guy. Swimming, not billiards. haha It is comfortable and covers my ears and the back of my neck which is most important. This is my 2nd one and I am sure I will order again.

We are an active family and everyone in the house owns Sunday Afternoon hats. They dry fast, stay on, keep the sun off your whole face and neck. They fold flat for easy packing. We take them everywhere we go.
