Much better than my previous razor. Comfortable grip, clean shave!

First time using a safety razor. The shave only took me a couple minutes longer than a store bought one. I assume after I get used to using it, wont be much different. I never even got 1 cut, which is pretty surprising. Even a store bought blade that swivels, leaves little cuts under my chin.Just take it a bit slower than usual if it's your first time using this type of razor. Don't touch the blade, make sure you buy something to dispose blades in. For the sake of your children or the garbage man.

I got this to replace my safety razor that I dropped and broke (I was so bummed!) This is a fantastic razor with a really smooth shave. I use the shark blades and it is fantastic. Highly recommend. I will always get the butterfly style since it is so much easier to use than the screw together kind. Definitely worth the extra money.

Robust feeling razor with a solid feeling twist to butterfly open/close. The handle has a nice thickness to it and is longer than my Gillette safety razor. The blade angle seems a bit more aggressive than my Gillette. At less than $20 for the razor, stand and a pack of 5 blades this is a great value for the money.

This appears to be an excellent razor. Time will tell how well it stands up to daily use. Be careful of the blades that come with it. They are extra sharp and can slice your face in a New York Minute. Unless you are an experienced user of Feather or Extra blades I would recommend the mild blades from Viking razors. The shave isn't quite as close, but your face will thank you.

I was nervous about using at first, because the blade is very sharp. But this is the closet shave I've ever gotten. You can even use in more *sensitive* areas (just be careful!). I wouldn't normally use shaving cream for a regular razor, but you really need to with this one.

Amazing. I had the smaller one in rose gold and lost it during moving. So I ordered this one because I thought I would like the longer handle better. Absolutely a great call. More control with the longer handle only thing I wish is that it came in rose gold. The stand is also an amazing extra I did not get with the first one I purchased.BAILI please make this in Rose Gold and contact me when you do.Awesome product and packaging. This shaving devise gives a fantastic shave! If that is all that matters to you, don't hesitate to purchase it. IF you care about the whole experience of using a throw-back tool, read on. I was always enamored with the mechanical design of my father's and grandfather's shavers when I was a kid. I could not wait to grow facial hair just to be able to use one. Alas, the disposable razor was in full swing by the time I did and I never got a chance until now. As stated, it gives a great shave. As far as the experience, it is lacking from the get-go since the mechanism for loading the razor, while it works fine for now, it is anything but fine. It is just a bunch of squeeky chinesium parts grinding against each other. I know it's at the low end of the price range for these types of devices but I remember the originals being very refined with smooth mechanisms for way less than I paid for this one, and I refuse to pay 40$ or more on principal. I'll be surprised if it lasts very long without falling apart. So, like I said, the whole experience is just not there for me but I'm a dinosaur these days and sue me for expecting more for my money.

I'm a female who bought this razor for my legs, etc. I'm not impressed. The blade is so close that my skin has a burning sensation after shaving. I often cut my ankle as well. I wouldn't recommend this razor, at least for women.

Before buying this device, I thought that it was normal to get cut while shaving with reusable shaving devices. This device is not only safe, but it also offers excellent results in terms of shaving. No more skits cuts! And it is green alternative to plastic razor devices. Definitely recommended!

sleek and well made. opens and closes well. well packaged. will update after using for a period of time . The bottom of the base could be a little wider for better stability

The blades that come with it are super nice. The mecanism is great so far, it locks properly. I had no problem with it.The only issue is that I still don't know if there's a side to the blades... there's A and B written on them, but no instructions about that.The little stand is very clever!Would buy again.
