The happy birthday banner was inflated with included straws. You just blow them up and attach them to the ribbon to make the banner. (We had one letter that lost air every 3-4 days but we kept using the straw to “fluff it up”. I took the banner down after 3-4 weeks! We inflated the giant 16 with helium. It lasted over a week. The pink and white balloons were inflated with helium. They only floated about 20 hours. The balloons with confetti we manually blew them up and tied them to the ends of the banner. (The reviews said they wouldn’t float with helium). The confetti balloons lasted a week. But then a visitor showed us if you popped them the confetti exploded everywhere. So much fun but a little messy. This was a lot of decor for a modest amount of $. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great set of balloons! Use a pump though... *by S***3 on February 10, 2021* Excellent balloon set! Smaller pieces all very easy to inflate with straw that comes in package, however the largest ones ("16") we ended up using a longer straw to 'open' and then inflated with an electric pump. The 4 stars are TINY and the 2 hearts only about 5" across, but the set makes decorating overall very nicely matched. These balloons were so worth the money. They are easy to blow up and assemble. You can use the straws they provide or use a hand-held pump or electric (although be careful because it inflates fast). They provide ribbon to string the "Happy" "Birthday" and "16" together. I blew them up on Friday night. Hung them on my outdoor fence Saturday and it's now Sunday and they are still perfect (still outside attached to my fence). I will probably take them down after today and store them away for the next birthday since I don't see the air coming out anytime soon. They also gave additional balloons and door streamers, etc. which I used some of. Some of the balloons were difficult to blow up but I still got it done. I didn’t need all the balloons due to Covid. Covid limited the party to a family only party.
