I love the size and shape of it, works great for retying my Sisterlocks. However, it isn’t stainless steel, and the description of the material is obscure. What is alloy? I’ve been retying my hair for the past 3 months for the first time, so I’ve done the whole process with this tool twice, and I’ve noticed some bumps, itching and irritation on my scalp, as well as the loss of the silver color on the tool. Now I wonder whether there is lead or nickel in it since this seems like and allergic reaction.Should have been made from stainless steel so we wouldn’t have to worry about any of this. Good product concept but thoughtless/careless on execution

Great grip, simple design and easy to use

I like the design (curve) and the size (thinness) of this tool, cute little velvet pouch too. In the beginning it felt a bit long, but once I got used to it, it was smooth sailing. The only downside is that it began to tarnish during the 1st use. This is likely because I retightened my hair while it’s still damp. That being said, they give you 4, so I’ll lightly switch tools after the next use. Because of the price and ease of use, I’ll buy again to have on hand, just in case. (May have to replace after a year or two)

I haven't used this yet. I have this same size but different brand. Feels sturdy. No areas that would snag. Love the colors. Bought as extra because last time I almost lost the original one. Nothing like having extra supplies in my loc box just in case.

As a woman who was learning to interlock, this was a great tool. They came in multiple sizes, which was smart because I have varying sizes of locs. And they are fairly easy to use and clean.

The product works okay, but it is 4 of the same sized tool instead of different sizes which defeats the purpose of buying this specific item. The reason I say it's just okay is that it won't hold smaller locs and you have to keep "re-threading" the hair.
