I've been wanting to get these jars and I'm glad I did! I received 3 sets of 4 jars in their original packaging. Each set was also well wrapped in bubble wrap. Hopefully the seller will get the Sweatheart jars back in stock so I can purchase them.

The jars are very unique and very patriotic.

Sometimes special decorative versions seem thinner/weaker than the normal product, but not with this. This is every bit of Ball quality, good or bad, that you should expect. 5 stars for a bit of brand integrity.

This is basically a set of normal, regular Ball jars that have heart shape on one side, and the text Ball on the other side. The heart doesn't stand out as much as it could given the branding on the other side if used in situations where the jar is clear, but once you fill the jar, the heart stands out much more. If you are using it for canning jams, I think the heart is an extra nice touch that would make the jams feel extra special for gift giving, especially with a nice piece of fabric or ribbon around the top.We got these for using as a series of pen jars on our craft table, and also for putting some faux flowers that we crafted, using the jar as a vase. We put some colorful tissue on the inside of the jar and then settled our flowers in, and it looked great to give as a gift from the kids to grandma.These jars are the usual sturdy ball quality that you are used to, and they come with lids. Overall these are a beautiful twist on the normal canning jar.

These Ball Keepsake Sweetheart Mason Jar are so versatile and perfectly sized in 16 oz jars for canning, jams, crafts, storing small items, giving as gifts, and even as drinking glasses. There are some measurements on the sides of these to use them as a measuring device for cooking, and I absolutely love the heart design on them!The lids seal everything in really well, and you can make quick gifts for teachers, friends, and family members by throwing in some candy, small goodies, or bath items in it, tie a little bow around it for decor - and give! While it looks subtle in the pictures, the heart on the glasses really stands out and look fantastic no matter what you put in them.They also work well for storing food items (herbs, flour, ingredients, cooking staples, etc.), and they look adorable no matter how you use them or where you place them. My husband loves mason jars for drinking glasses, so I've given up using much of anything else, because the size and wide mouth on these kinds are perfect. We are using some of this set for some drinking glasses and the rest for storage, crafts, and gifts. The sky's the limit on what you can use them for, and they are just perfect! Love these - they get two thumbs up from our household!

When we first got these we realized that we could use them for storage of liquids or for other perishable items that we either wanted to freeze or put on the shelf.Then, one day I was watching a video on line and it was of an artist painting in water color. In the past I had always used large items which held water so that I could rinse the brushes of the current color. Then, this artist was using the same exact jars with clear water so that he could rinse out the color and proceed to the next color. I realized at once that you would really benefit by placing several jars next to the easel so that you could keep going and accomplish a lot more. I really like this for use with my art! Highly recommend these and you can put them into the dishwasher when done!

I got these to fill with pickles and such, to give out to friends. They are nice mason jars, with an abstracted American flag shaped into a star on the side. They are packed really well in the box so I didn't have any breakage during shipment. I do wish the flag were a little "clearer" because I was thinking to give them out at our July 4th party, but if you look at the jars closely, the star/flag is raised and visible, particularly after the jars are filled. They do make nice gifts. There were no problems with the jars during the canning process, so they seem like good quality, and I've had good luck with Ball in the past. They are the perfect size for pickles. They use the standard, regular mouth lids and bands, so it is no problem getting more lids/bands to continue using the jars for future batches of pickles or jam.
