As a runner, this is perfect to have in a smoothie, water, milk, whatever you want. It actually tastes so good and has lots of protein. It also has electrolytes, and has a good amount of product for the price. I definitely recommend!

One scoop per 8 (I use 12 to get more fluids) oz of water. Shake well and drink. The powder quickly melts into the water without any difficulty and doesn't require excessive shaking. The flavor is a mild vanilla and not overpowering or sweet. I despise sickening sweet drinks and this is perfect for me. This definitely helps my recovery and post workout soreness. I recover much quicker!

I was hesitant to buy this product because I had been using the regular chocolate recovery powder for the last 2 years. So when I saw they changed it up, I was slightly hesitant especially because there were so many negatives about the flavor. I gave it a chance and even changed flavors because I had heard vanilla in the old formula was amazing. I tried it after a 16 mile run and was AMAZED at how good the flavor was. It didn’t taste chemical at all. I mixed it with 16 oz of unsweetened vanilla almond milk and the flavor was wonderful. Highly recommend this product if you’re a GU recovery drink user.

Great taste! I don't like the "watery" taste so I mixed it with milk. Turned out to be too heavy for my stomach, so I mixed with low fat and it was perfect.

GU recovery drink was fantastic. I felt my recovery was faster and i loved the flavor. Then, GU changed this product. It still helps recovery after a workout, but the flavor is average at best. It's a pity because I used to love this product.
