Worked like a charm for my 17" Dell Latitude 1750 laptop
Worked like a charm for my 17" Dell Latitude 1750 laptop. I replaced it's original 4GB with these 2 sticks. The replacement itself was very painless. Here are the steps: 1. Turn off the computer (Start button -> Shut down.) Wait for the LED on the front to go off. 2. Remove the battery from the back. 3. Open the RAM door in the back, marked as C/M. For that you'll have to remove one screw from it & pop it open by slightly prying it out with your finger nails. 4. Pop each of the existing memory slots out (one by one) using spring-latches on each side. 5. Insert new RAM modules in, until they snap in place. 6. Put the back cover on, put the screw back in. Then put the battery in and power on the laptop. 7. The first time it boots, BIOS might take a bit longer to run its diagnostic tests. Simply wait. (It may also show a warning that the amount of RAM had increased. Simply acknowledge it. It won't do it again.) 8. When it boots into Windows check that you got all the memory by invoking the computer properties. It should then show 8GB of RAM somewhere in the window. So now I can open more than a handful of tabs in Chrome browser without using the swap disk. (On the side node, Google should seriously stop making a Chrome into a memory glutton!)

The memory fell after two weeks of use
I guess I got a bad set of memory because it worked pretty good for a while and then it wouldn’t read the memory after a while. so I’m gonna have to return them. so I questioned the quality of this type of memory. It says it’s compatible with my laptop, but maybe it’s not don’t know why it failed. Maybe their factory didn’t check it well enough. Or it’s old memory. Not a happy customer.
