DRY PAK Roll Top Dry Gear Bag, 11.5" x 19, Clear

This bag is very sturdy and holds a lot more than I expected. I actually ordered the smaller bag to put my dslr camera in without having such a large bag to manage. A strap would be nice for this large bag. So far it hasn't torn, it hasn't let in any water or moisture so long as it is rolled appropriately. I like being able to see enough of what is in it (it's not crystal clear, but kind of sheer). This is a good quality bag that I've used more than a dozen times with no problems. It looks like if it did tear it would stop at one of the grid points, but it hasn't torn so I'm not 100% sure of that.

This is my first dry bag purchase and it works great! I needed something for my upcoming kayak trip and this bag was perfect. Clear mesh material is strong and sturdy, as well as the clasp to hold everything closed and dry.

This is a great piece of gear for boating, tubing, hanging by the pool, or anywhere there's both water and stuff that you don't want to get wet. I used this to keep my gear dry on a friend's boat and to store a change of clothes, towels, snacks, and electronics on a tubing trip. The only complaint I have is that the buckle on my bag broke, pretty much rendering the bag useless. I was able to get a replacement nylon strap and buckle combination from Academy for under 2 bucks and rig it up so I can once again secure the roll-top. Otherwise, the quality of the bag and it's waterproof-ness are great.

Everything about this bag was what I had expected from the description and other reviews. It is not a sturdy as other dry sacks I have had, but also not as bulky. The main problem I had is I bought the medium sized bag to be able to put my whole camera case in the dry sack. The size would have been perfect but the opening of the bag is ~3 inches smaller than the diameter of the bag, so it is a bit difficult to fit larger items into it that should fit fine in such a large bag. The next size up would be way too large for my purpose.

I use these to keep my arborist ropes safe from oil and moisture. This bag can fit 150 ft of 5/8 bull rope. Best value I've found.

Product needs a zipper closure

We bought the bag to take on a canoe trip. Despite the fact that it "seals" by just rolling up the top and then closing the clasps, it does NOT leak and will float with plenty of stuff in it.The second time we took it out on a canoeing outing, though, the plastic clasp broke. Luckily we had some rope with us that we rolled up with the top of the bag and secured it closed by tying the rope ends together.If you buy one, have some rope handy, just in case...

Used this bag on a one day white water trip. I was able to put two full size towels, a camera, wallet, purse, keys and an extra change of clothes for two people in this bag. Everything stayed dry. It was nice to be able to see through the bag when digging for items. I will be using it many times in the future I am sure.

Exactly what I was looking for. Heavy duty, waterproof material. Pleasantly surprised by large size. Will be used to store anchor and rope on a small boat.

So far so good. The bag is quite thick, and when rolled up properly I find it quite air tight, so it should be quite water tight as well. I did find, however, rolling it up and getting all the excess air out, took quite a few tries. Overall a good purchase, and hopefully it will last.
