Thank you for sharing your story.
I cried like a baby yesterday as I began to read this book. Everything I have been complaining of to many, many doctors was validated. Thank you for writing your story! This book is for every patient who has been mis-diagnosed with fibromyalgia and any other blanket diagnosis they could saddle you with. For anyone who was made to feel like it was "all in their head", this book will validate you and help you along your journey. I can't say it enough, Thank you!I got so ill I couldn't speak.I have been ill for over 20 years. The frustration was so bad, just trying to get my husband to help me make them help me was crushing. I couldn't think correctly so for you to have the wherewithal to compile this information is amazing to me! Thank God you did. Thank you

Too basic to be useful
You can get more information in an online search or most medical texts. For a person with severe pancreatic problems it is not at all useful. I skimmed it and shelved it.

Good book to learn about EPI. good tests to request.
Good information for learning about the health issues of a EPI. A lot of test results I didn’t understand but the discussion on EPI is valuable and would recommend to anyone learning about this health issue. Good questions listed for dr appointments and good tests to request your dr order for you. The more you know the better you can learn to live with this disease.

All epi patients need to start here.
As a former CFS patient, and a current Epi patient, I thank Mr. Taxopeus for all the work he's put in, both getting himself finally diagnosed and treated, but organizing the information about testing and supplements so well. I had learned about supplements when I had CFS (1986-95), and still used some till now, especially after being diagnosed 7months ago with Epi. The worst of the inflammation is over for me, but the supplements and what they help was a particularly useful list for me. Already have had a few more delivered to my doorstep. I appreciate his spreading the word that there is help out there and we are not helpless; glad to see how he kept going in the face of long-term illness, to healthier. I only wish there was an index. I do know how hard they are to do, though....

Very technical
Not user friendly very technical and seems like a doctor would use it not a consumer

Buy this book
If you have gut problems and you know why or don’t know why this book may help you. The information can be a lot and all medical type info ave to drag myself through. But! Medicine is difficult to understand, for me anyway. So I took my time, read in small parts at a time, used a pen to under line and asked myself questions about difficult parts. I’m still not through. Because the writer was a person just like me who was ill. His writing seems to help him organize and I found that very much helpful. This is a guide as he says and a story like so many people share. It’s not a sob story but an intelligent quest.

Thank you Mr. Toxopeus
After suffering from digestive issues for about 20 years following pancreatic surgery, I was finally diagnosed with EPI. Unfortunately my doctor, although a specialist, wasn't as helpful as I had hoped. He did prescribe Zenpep digestive enzymes, which helped, but he made no mention of supplements so I saw some improvement but not as much as I had hoped for. One night the idea just popped into my head that maybe there was a book on the subject that I could read for self help. I am so thankful I found Primal Pancreas. While I was nowhere near as sick as the author I could definitely see my symptoms progressing to a similar level of sickness. I took his suggestions on supplementation and diet to heart and have seen wonderful results. Instead of 4-6 trips to the bathroom everyday I am down to 1 or 2. I found his advice on amino acids and CIBO most helpful. The supplements seem to work best if I take them with a Zenpep caplet. I highly recommend this book and I am so thankful I found it
