They said they were for up to size 12 feet and my daughter is an 11. I couldn't even get her toes into them, so so so tight and she started to panic and i thought there is no way I could deal with that every time she goes swimming. I did think about going a size up but then they'd probably flap around her feet. These were a little baggy on her once she got in the water, but did not slip off (they just puffed up a little around the feet but were snug on the ankles) - it completely altered her swimming stroke so she wasn't very comfortable wearing them whilst swimming, but fortunately she didn't have to endure them for too long. However she really liked wearing them out of the water!
