Elegant and Smart
Let me begin by saying one thing plainly: I believe that "audiophiles" who claim to hear whatever differences between $500+ streamers & amps are full of it. I believe that, past a basic quality threshold, most mortals should only be concerned with two things when it comes to enjoying great sounding music: the quality of your sources (digital or physical) and the quality of your speakers. So I won't say a peep about the "sound quality" of the Denon PMA-150H because it sounds exactly the same as the Cambridge Audio CXA-60 & CXN V2 that it is attempting to replace. Both systems drive my Wharfedale Denton 85th Anniversary bookshelf speakers very well, and both are happy to go to loudness levels that I am not allowed to use in my NYC apartment. So what do you judge a digital amp like this one on? For me,1) functions2) looks and size3) usability. The Denon does great on all three fronts. Functionality-wise, it is great to have Airplay 2, Bluetooth and internet radio as well as a million other inputs that I'll never use. I hear this model plays particularly nice with a tv when connected via optical cable, but I haven't tried this myself. I use Airplay 2 most of the time, and internet radios the rest of the time. It all works very reliably, wakes from sleep reliably and by itself when needed, the app isn't too awful (and moreover you don't have to use it to Airplay). The remote is bigger and more complicated than it has to, but it gets a pass. This thing looks fantastic. It is 1/4 of the size of the Cambridge Audio stack that it wants to replace. I thought I was going to miss the Cambridge's CXN color display with album artwork, but, in fact, with the CXN the font was far too small to be read from my listening position. The Denon's OLED display might be for text only, but at least it is clear and big enough.Generally speaking, the aesthetic language is that of an iMac, with black plastic bezels and brushed aluminum all over. The Cambridge Audio units might be better-than-average-looking for hifi separates, but this guy here goes into the realm of tech that you want to proudly have out on display in your room -- like an iMac, precisely. On the usability front, all good, except perhaps one thing: that the HEOS app does not communicate your HEOS login credentials to the unit, you have to log in manually. This seems absurd -- it could be that I am missing something. But be warned that typing passwords with that remote is not fun.Overall I am extremely satisfied. One negative thing, though, as another reviewer mentioned, I believe, is that this thing runs very hot -- far hotter than you'd imagine for a class D amp. I don't mind, really, but I wonder whether that's going to be a problem for its longevity.

Looks Cool - Overpriced
Not sure why this amp retails for $1099.Is it $1099 because of:1) Sound quality? No2) Power? No (2 channel, 70W per)3) Ease of use? No4) Performance? No (I'll explain)5) Design? Maybe6) Denon name? DefinitelyIt looks cool. That's about it.You can't use it without a WiFi connection? That makes no sense. The Heos app is garbage.I returned mine because the Bluetooth playback was not smooth. When listening to music songs would randomly jump ahead or back a few seconds, or play really fast or really slow for a moment. For $1099 a device should work perfectly - this device did not.It was also way to challenging to sort through the menu using the remote.Changing the audio levels was a chore.I'm not sure the Audio Direct function even worked.I bought a $160 Sony amp, 2 channel (2 speakers per channel, 100W per output) and I couldn't be happier.

Nice for what it is
This amp functions well and is all around a pretty good unit. It does just about everything you’d expect of a integrated amp and I didn’t have any issues with connections. It is compact and matched up with my iMac nicely, it definitely has an apple vibe. Touch controls are a little cumbersome and I would have preferred a second dial for changing the input. If you don’t change the input much I suppose that wouldn’t matter. I used this by my computer for digital music from usb and with airplay mostly. Both functioned well.I did turn out returning the unit though. Although music was clear and clean but the sound was a little bright for my taste with my speakers. Not a lack of bass but just an emphasis of treble that didn’t work for me. Your taste may vary.

Premium Features & Audio at a Premium Price
I love this integrated amp. I won't go into the feature set other than to say that I have found all of its features to work as advertised. It matches well with the Amazon Music HD service as there are two ways to play high res content from that service: via computer running the Amazon Music app connected to the PMA-150H's USB-DAC input and via the HEOS mobile app. The former method has a more pleasant and feature rich user experience. Audio fidelity is exemplary. It's glossy black and aluminum styling is very attractive. It cost more than I felt good about paying, but I'm keeping it because it fits my needs perfectly. Note: Ciurrently, as of 4/30/2020, there is STILL a mistake in the listing's title. This amp does NOT have a phono input. I reported it weeks ago. I don't know if they are ever going to fix it.

Class D sound. Small unit. Works flawlessly.
Classic class D sound signature. Great bass. Compared to Marantz 1200, the Marantz has a warm sound signature, which I love. But the small chasis looks amazing in my console. If you have high efficiency speakers and enjoy class D sound this is an amazing integrated amp.

A small receiver u can put anywhere
I bought this to run my 6 polk atrium 8s for outside and wanted a avr small that I can put in a small cabinet to be close to the pool. With the 8s u can set them to eather 4 or 8 ohms so what gets me the best sound. I'm a SOUND UNITED HOME inside and out with denon and polk. Highly recommend this little thing. Cute as my girl friend says

Great sound, works nicely with online sources, Google, IFTTT.
I use this with a couple of existing speakers for one zone out of 6 in my home. I control all the other zones with Chromecast devices, and this connects seamlessly to Google without a Chromecast device. I wish all my amps were HEOS because i would have more control, but I have some older Denon receivers that are still great and not worth it to replace them at this point. I don't really use the remote, so I can't really say it is 5 stars. It looks like a lot of buttons to me. I have a couple of PMA-60 amps that have much more simple remote controls, although they are not HEOS or ethernet.
