Sometimes love means walking away... And that’s exactly what I did. I swore off men and then I met Jack. Consumed with desire, I fell hard and fast. Maybe he would be different? Turns out he was keeping a secret... a big one. I was hoping I was wrong about love, but he just proved me right. And he’s going to have a heck of a time convincing me otherwise. Review: Holy wow I loved this book! - Holy Wow!!! I loved this book! This story picks up right where book one ends. It’s full of fun, flirty goodness that just about made my heart explode with the happiness this couple found. There’s lots of family drama pushing Jack and Harper to find a place where everyone can work together. I really enjoyed the side story of Jack’s dad and how the author played it all out. We’ve definitely got some ex drama going on but she never makes a move on Jack which was refreshing. I found Harper to be a great heroine as she grew into confidence and self-assurance. Jack was dynamite! He had his eyes on Harper and he didn’t hold back. The secondary characters shift around a bit this time and we are introduced more to Jack’s family than Harper’s friends…although they are still very much in the picture as well. This was a great conclusion to a wonderful story that is actually low angst and high steam. The relationship is realistic and so heartwarming that I wanted to twirl in a giddy circle for all the joy it brought. And I’m not even going to mention the little twist. Oops! Review: Great story! - Jack was a chef. He owned his restaurant that was connected to a night club. One afternoon he was going to the restaurant when he saw the most beautiful woman with the longest legs. So he followed her into the club. He ordered her and her friends a drink, bur told the waitress to tell Harper she needed to go to his table to get it. They introduced themselves and talked for awhile. They ended up at his restaurant. Things were very interesting, ups and downs, but through it all, Jack knew he wanted Harper so bad.

Redemption!
Over Hard picks up right where the first book left off and took off running! There was a lot going on starting with Harper and Jack fixing matters between them, Jack’s daughter Ava -cute as a button and a set of pipes that reminded me of my own daughter’s toddler meltdowns when her Little People went missing, Jack’s family drama, and of course, Harper’s lunatic ex, who’s crazier then I expected him to be! When Over Easy ended, Jack’s secrets and the cliffhanger with Harper about killed me! I was on the fence about Jack and was thrilled he managed to redeem himself. Harper has also grown into her own and I was quite happy with the maturer tone this story had over the first book. Harper’s friends are still quite the colorful group with one holding a few secrets of her own, and when you add in Jack’s family...the laughs just kept coming! Overall, this turned out to be a great read!

Great book
The best book I have read in ages! I will be looking for the other books by this author, Jessa York. HEA story, with surprising twists. Family drama, domestic violence. I will read the series of 4 books

Amazing
I absolutely loved this book. It was sweet watching Jack and Harper figure out their relationship while navigating their families and the drama that came with them. My heart went on a rollercoaster ride with every fight and every time they made up. I think I fell in love with Jack's daughter almost as quick as Harper did. This story will make you laugh and cry. It is easy to relate to the characters and how their lives are not perfect but face pain from all different directions. Their love story isn't easy but to me, that makes it some much more relatable.

Wonderful!
I really enjoyed this book. The characters were real and believable. There were also older characters that I loved reading about. The best thing is there are a lot of funny things in this book. I love when an author includes sad, happy and laughter in books. It makes it so real to me. MS. York deserves more than a 5 star rating.

good read
A mistake made and losing that which means everything to you. Jacks really messed things up with Harper worse than before by not being fully honest can he convince Harper to give him another chance when he tells her the truth all while dealing with the continued stalking and harassment of Harpers ex husband

Great beginng duo of a series.
“Falling for Jack” and “Convincing Harper” are fantastic. The resolution of a scary stalker situation with the main characters, and the revealing of two characters that I became incredibly interested in reading more about makes me want more in this series. Excellent story with a terrific hook, proofreading and editing. I couldn’t ask for more.

4.5 Sizzling Stars 🌟
I have to admit, I thought this book was going to go one way and it went completely another direction. Either was I was not disappointed at all! I received an advance copy of Jessa’s first book Over Easy through Facebook but decided to purchase the conclusion to Harper and Jack’s story as I can’t not know what happened after enjoying the first book so much:) This book had a little bit of everything I like in a story, romance, some humour, some heartbreak and best of all some twists I didn’t see either! I hope we get another story as I’m intrigued to find out more about Riley and Stone who are all secondary characters in this story.

Funny and hot
Glad I found Jessa York. The second part of this story was better than the first. I can’t wait to read the next story. Jessa York is an amazing author and a nice, down to earth person who knows how to connect with her readers.
